My husband and I are both in school we live in a nice neighborhood and we have three kids. 10, 6 and 3 we just found out there is another on the way which we are happy about but worried about what people will say. we wanted to have the last one before I turned 30. I am 29. We live in a decent sized 2 br apartment near a nice town and we have the kids in the master bedroom with their own bathroom. We have a yard and our own Wash/dry. We also have a decent size living room, dining room, and eat in kitchen. Our only obstacle is that we can not buy a house right now. We need atleast 15% to buy one at this point. I would be happy to stay here. My sons bed can be changed to a loft bed and we can put the crib under it. We spend most of our days at work/school. and our rent is cheap. I don't want to move out to the boonies to buy a cardboard house that we can't afford. I would rather stay here and give them love and buy a house here when we can in a couple of years.

I think your home sounds lovely, and there's no reason to change something that's working for you. You really shouldn't care what others will say. They don't get to decided what's best for your family. They don't even know what's best for your family! The worst thing you could do would be to get into a rent/mortgage that you can't afford. This would only bring stress and grief to your home which would weaken your family.

I agree with Eighties where I live it is illegal for more then two children of the same sex to share a room. A boy and girl here can not share a room. I do hope you can stay were you are so you can get a nice home for you family to live in.
