do you mean like a weekend babysitter, or a live-in nanny or just regular everyday daycare while you're at work?? go to the want ads to see about daycare openings in your area. also every state/county should have a list of daycares in your area.
because i don't know what state you're in, call the town hall for where that might be or the welfare office (sounds rude, but they always have alot of insights)

There are agencies that will give you child care vouchers. If you don't want to go on a crazy waiting list, apply for welfare and then they will give you vouchers without waiting just to get you back to work. Embarassing but worth going to welfare office. Think how much money Bush is wasting on war. Why not on your baby? If not appealing, be friends with other moms and see if they help you out. But once I said to my friend about baby, "Can you hold him?" She said "you had him, you hold him." Now she is single mom too and her kid is bratty!!!

It depends on what type of help you are looking to resieve for your baby. If you need help with child care, food, and / or medical then you might want to look in to contacting your local des ( department of economic security ) office. You can also go to your local child support office and file for child support

for financial help try going to your local health dept and sign up for wic which will give you infant formula and food for you if breastfeeding. also try signing up for welfare for other needs. if you are talking about childcare, ask around for family members or friends that may be willing to help out first, if not you could put a ad in the paper for childcare.
