I would check her gums (if no teeth yet) if she still has the bump on the front then no teeth pushing through yet.
I would make sure she has had at least 1 bowl movement in 24 hours. If not talk to the doc to see if that is her issue.
I would burp her really well if still fussy I would try simethicone for gas or it could be colic (real bad gas) and that is painful.
I would try a weak chamomile tea to see if that eases her nerves. Or weak peppermint tea for tummy issues.
If all that fails I would get someone to sit with her and I would take a break and drink the tea cause it could just be your stress she is feeling. If no one can help I would put her in her crib for a few minutes and take a quick breather. Then go to her and try again with a little less stress.
I would also place a call to the doc to see if he/she could give any other suggestions.

As a last resort, if you're into alternative medicine, go see a chiropractor that specializes in adjusting infants. It can be a night-and-day difference in the baby's attitude sometimes. I've heard of babies with cholic not having cholic any more.

If she is gassy, you could try massaging her stomach or giving her OTC gas drops. They are herbal. Doctors have been known to advise getting them.

Or, maybe she gets held a lot. She may be learning that if she cries, she'll get held all the time.

I know some babies just do this. I think as hard as it would be you need to try and stay relaxed because babies can sense how you are feeling. Have you seen your doctor or clinic nurse to make sure there is no medical reason?

Maybe putting her in the pram and going for a walk. Try bathing and massage. One of those baby carriers that way you can have free hands.

Good luck! And hang in there!

my baby is very placid, but my freinds is so tempered and will scream like shes in pain too, if i pick her up she will still cry, she will only stop for her mum, she can be in a good mood then all of a sudden shes screaming, alot of the time its because shes tired and only has cat naps, my first born was a real screamer, all babies r different, if she stops crying when u pick her up then she mustnt b in any pain

how is she feeding??? She may have cholic, it's hard to say..
Please remember this: YOU ARE DOING NOTHING WRONG!
Babies don't come with a manual, its trial and error... I would suggest taking to your nurse/doctor.... Have someone with you so you can take a break, even if its for 10 mins! Hang in there!!! You will get to the bottom of this.....

sounds like she may have colic. there is not much you can do for her if she has this, but hold her and rock her. sometimes going into a bathroom and turning on the exhaust fan will help. if she is cutting a tooth, a cold pacifier or teether helps as well as orajel.

Maybe she is tired? try sitting in a dark room and talk to her softly she might stop crying to listen. Try winding her to! my daughter gets grissly when she gets tired and cries a lot. Good Luck

Sounds like colic. Most colicky babies are super sensitive. My youngest one was like this. He tended to like things that are soft. So, try wrapping her up in a soft, warm, fleece-like blanket. He also enjoyed riding in a stroller. She will outgrow it.
