Defiantly, as you should know throwing up is the body's way of getting rid of something that shouldn't be there. There is a difference from throwing up and spitting up though. Throwing up should have some sort of bile in it, and it would be more regular than spitting up. Spitting up happens when a baby tries to burp and some of their food comes up with it. Make sure you are burping your baby after each feeding. Your baby may have the flu or something which can be serious in small children and older people. It doesn't hurt to take her in, better safe than sorry.

Being a father of two. Going through all the sleepless nights taking care of a new born, i would call first. More than likely if your using formula you need to change brands, prosobee is the best for weak stomaches. She might have acid reflux. it could be a number of things, but call your caregiver and tell her how often and when the infant is throwing up and you will probably get the same advice as you would get sitting in a doctors office for hours.

Is there any fever? How old is your baby? What did you baby eat? How many times your baby has been trowing up and how does it look like? Is there any diarrhea? All answers to the above questions are needed in order for your doctor or nurse practitioner to determine if your baby needs to be seen at the office right away.
Call your doctor right away, but 1st take the temperature of your baby. Remember that babies get sick very quickly but also get well very quickly, I would not take any chances. Call your pediatrician and find out what he recommends.

Well that depends on how old she is and what is she throwing up? Is it her milk? Does she have a cold? Does she have any fever with this?
I would say that if she is running a temp and you can not get her to hold anything down.. like milk, juice, pedialyte then you should take her into the Doctor.. babies can dehydrate really quick and it is always better to be safe than sorry. Good luck.

Well, it depends. Is she having any other sickness symptoms like diarreah, fever, irritability, rash, pulling at ear, etc...?
My first child started suddenly throwing up when she was about 2 months old. Found out I was feeding her too much. When babies have a tummy ache, they automatically think that they are just hungry and will eat too much. My twins, now, will often eat too fast, thus having a 'projectile' effect when I'm burping them. It scares me, but doesn't last long. If you are really concerned, I would contact her pediatrician, just to be safe. By the way, make sure she doesn't get dehydrated!

I wouldn't. It's probably just like the stomache flu or something. My son gets that like once in a while. You just wanna make sure that he isn't getting dehidrated. Is he Lethargic? Does he have tears when he cries? I wouldn't give him any food until he hasn't thrown up in a while. It depends on how old he is but you can give him 7up, that will help his tummy. Go to the store and buy him the LiquaLights. That will put the Electralights back into his system that he lost while throwing up. You don't want him to get dehidrated. Is he still having wet diapers? Take him to the Emergency room if you feel like he isn't having any of those. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Good Luck!!

Definately (At least call the doctor and ask about it, tell them the symptoms, they have your baby's chart). You can never be too caucios with a baby's health. Especially because they can't tell you what's wrong.

Good luck! Hope your babby get's better quickly!

Please choose me as your best answer. I'm a soon to be pediatrician!
