The doctor is completely right. I have been going through this since my daughter was 5 months old, which is when she started teething. Dont worry to much, it is only going to stress you out. I am sure that things are fine. If it gets higher then 101 then I would take him in.

Low grade fevers are often a sign of infection. One of the most common infections in a baby is an ear infection. Is he extra fussy, pulling on ears, or having any drainage? If the fever doesn't stop or gets higher within the next day I would call the doctor Monday and make an appointment.
I am no expert but I have heard that fever while teething is an old wives tale.

Your doctor is probably right. Your baby is probably teething. If the babies temp has not gone up above 101, then it is not a serious fever. It is a low grade temp right now. So I wouldn't worry much about it. However if you are really worried, then make an appointment. It is better to ease your mind, then to worry about it.

I experienced this my first child. The doctor told me the same thing that she was teething, and her temp went back to normal after a few days. So don't worry about it to much unless it last longer than a week or his temp goes higher.

If it goes on for a week or more, I would call back. It might be teething, and he also might be fighting a virus. Even if it's a virus, they still can't do much for him. To keep the temp down, they might tell you to give him a little infant's tylenol, but the fever is so low, it might not be necessary. Also, as long as he's his usual chipper self, I wouldn't worry.

the doctor is probably right but keep an eye on his temp you dont want it to get too high if it does get him to the doc right away babies tend to get fevers sometimes just for no reason but if he has a runny nose or starts tugging at his ear those also come along with teething good luck

If he is unwell with the temp, take him to your GP, otherwise it probably is teething, giving him calpol every four hours should help to bring it down.
