I like Sophia becuz Sofia is so close to sofa! But since its an Italian baby I like Sofia it looks more Italian!!!!

I prefer Sophia because Sofia seems TOO easy. Also writing Sophia will help learn letters more.

Sofia is more traditional italien, when phoenetic (sorry wrong spelling!) spelling was common place, however Sophia is the more modern way of spelling it. So its your choice as for traditional or modern. Chances are your child will change it in their teens anyway! Congratulations by the way!

Sofia is more of the Spanish was.
Sophia is way better, but I am a little biased to it, being it is my name. It is also a family name for me, it has been used for generations.
