My son is almost 11 months old. He is getting his top two teeth in at the same time. I know he's vomiting from the excessive saliva in his mouth from teething, but is there anyway to keep him from choking?

My 2 boys are big boys and was wandering how many others are out there. It seems that there are a lot of small babies. Both of mine were 20+lbs by 5 months and atleast 23in. My oldest is know 4 and he is expcted to be about 6'4 WOW that is tall. I am 5'8 and my hubby is 5'10. My dad was 6+ and his dad is 5'3. I hope our boys are tall and does that really work doubling there height at 2. It did for me and my hubby and my sis so did it work for anyone else?

My baby has really dry skin/eczema on her face and ears. At the hospital they recommended olive oil. I also read that mineral oil is good too. Which is best? I prefer the mineral oil because the olive oil really makes her stink. But I want to make sure I am using what is best to keep her skin moisturized.

My nephew is 2 months old and tall (though I don't know his exact measurement). He weighs 18lbs.

Is this bad? He went to the doctor yesterday and she said he was too tall and weighed too much.

Is his weight bad if he's tall for his age? His dad is really tall and his 3yr old sis was kind of chubby too but slimmed down and is tall for her age as well.

Hi, We have tried introducing baby rice to out 6 month old since she was 4 months but she really seems so uninterested. Now she is 6 months and we have the same problem. We tried sweet potato and she seemed to like it more but was sick shortly after. Any advice?

My 5 month old rolls easily over onto her tummy from her back. The problem is getting her to roll back to her back. She used to do that but seems to have forgotten how. She rolls over at night (and during the day) and when she can't get back, she screams bloody murder. Is there any way to help her 'remember' how to get back to her back?

Just curious to hear about other parents experiences w/ bronchiolitis.

I had to take my baby to the hospital a few days ago because he was wheezing & had a fever. He was diagnosed w/ having bronchiolitis. We were told to use the vaporizor, Tylenol (if needed), & albuterol (to make him more comfortable). We were told that it has to run its' course.

This might be an odd question but it's something I've always wondered about. When you have twins, triplets, quads, etc....even you have names picked out beforehand or don't pick until after they're born, how do you decide which name to give which baby?

My children did not walk until I went out and purchased walking shoes for them. My daughter in law showed me a book today indicating babies are better off not wearing shoes. I purchased walking shoes for my almost 13 month old grandson to start walking since he isn't walking yet.

Your answers are greatly appreciated.

I've never been to one, but am thinking of taking my 4-month-old to the Target portrait studio. Is that too young? Will she be scared? Are they good with kids, or are they like the young, rude, surly cashiers up front? :)

I'm shopping online for nursing bras and with so many, I'm wondering which are best. I'm looking for something without wire, that doesn't give the torpedo-boob effect, that will hold its shape through the day and through multiple washings, and that comes in a color other than white (beige would be a great start).

My husband and I plan on doing some traveling in a few months with our daughter and I want to buy a back-pack style baby carrier to eliminate the need for the stroller when in crowds. I want something breathable, comfortable, and adjustable to fit myself (5'6") or my husband (6'1").

I'm tired of my Husband telling me that he should come first in my life and then it's our baby. I totally disagree with that. I think your kids should come first no matter what, then your husband. Am I the only one who feels this way?

I was wondering if the hospital would allow me to pump breast milk for the first feeding after delivering my baby. For some reason, the idea of him latching on to my breast is not appealing yet, I want him to have breast milk. I want to express the milk from the very beginning. Has anyone done this?

This is a serious question,I do not need to be lectured on breast milk.I gave my son my breast milk for the first 5 months,3 of that was partial breast and part pump and feed.He is very allergic to dairy, soy and something that we had not determand so his cardiologist suggest I switch him to formula so we can boost it easier for him to gain weight for his next heart surgery.(read my profile and you will understand my situation)So I switched to formula but I still wonder if I could try and pump again?Of course I would have to talk to the doctors first but do you think it is possible to get my milk going again after just over 2 months of not pumping?Would it still be beneficial to a 7 month old?I kind of know the answer is yes for that.

I just started my daughter on baby food. Now, I was told that you should start with just 1 single fruit and/or veggie and you could switch to a new fruit or veggie in 2-5 days I guess to make sure that your baby doesn't have any allergies. Well, so far my child has tried 3 veggies and has had 1 fruit. The pediatrician said that at meal time she should have the rice cereal a fruit and a veggie???? I am so confused because I have been told so many things. Since the baby food is very new to her she doesn't eat too much of it right now. She usually takes a few spoonfuls of each thing and then she's done. Usually, after the baby food I have to give her a bottle of formula with cereal. My dr said not to give her bottles with cereal anymore...why not? What am I suppose to do when she is not eating very much baby food? Im a new mom...
