My 5 month old rolls easily over onto her tummy from her back. The problem is getting her to roll back to her back. She used to do that but seems to have forgotten how. She rolls over at night (and during the day) and when she can't get back, she screams bloody murder. Is there any way to help her 'remember' how to get back to her back?

just pratice with her make it like a game when children are this young its not that they forget it is just that they are finding new stuff that they can do so the stuff they have learned before gets pushed to a back burner it is the same way with words when my daughter was younger all she used to say was dada she went through a stage where all she would say was mama now she is 1 and is saying them both again, so like i said just make it a fun time with her

All in due time! My son didn't start rolling over until he was almost 5 months. She'll "remember" on her own. If you want to try to help her along, maybe try putting her on her tummy under a mobile, or have something over her head behind her that she's interested in.

Be patient, and roll the little turtle back over when she gets stuck. All babies learn in their own time...and yes, sometimes they do forget how to do something, but only because she's probably working on something else.

First be sure she doesn't have a physical issue to address, otherwise I think she didn't forget, she's just teaching you how to do it for her. Let her cry she'll remember when she knows your not going to run to her.

just kinda help her roll. get behind her and say her name. maybe that will help or if she has a favorite musical toy use that as well. all you can do is "help" and wait :)
