My husband and I plan on doing some traveling in a few months with our daughter and I want to buy a back-pack style baby carrier to eliminate the need for the stroller when in crowds. I want something breathable, comfortable, and adjustable to fit myself (5'6") or my husband (6'1").

i highly reccoment the EGRO http://www.ergobabycarrier.com

It is structured, yet packable and so comfortable. It alos goes on front or back or hip and can carry a large toddler or infant. It is super comfortable on the adult too.

Everyone says that the baby bjorn is the best one, but it also costs $80+. I bought the Snugli by Evenflo ($30) and my son loves it and I have never had any problems with it at all. I think its easy to change positions, my only issue with it is that if he falls asleep in it, I have to wake him up to get him out. Some styles out there you can remove the child without waking them up. However, I didn't buy the carrier as a crib, and he usually falls right back to sleep after I take him out.
