I have a 8 mnth old baby girl who I love with all my heart and I am 7 mnths pregnant. As the second baby is due it is scaring me more to think about 2 babies so close together is age and how hard it will be for me and how I will cope. I always have mixed feelings and emotions and sometimes just cry when things get too much. I dont really know how people with PND act and am not not sure if I'm getting it as the birth draws near.

I am treated for depression and schizophrenia and it involves my taking antipsychotic, antidepressant medicines inducing deep sleep in the night.I have been breastfeeding the child and in nights the child is given milk by my mother as I can not wakeup. Now,I should be going and living with my husband and one can help as my husband goes for job in night. Is it possible to get help by rescheduling medicines so that I can be conscious or aware of crying of my child and render help.I am also averse to taking help from others other than my husband in this matter. Can anyone comeup with a better solution.?

Hello! I'm a single mom of a 6 month old BEAUTIFUL baby girl. I've decided I want to start going out one night a week and I have a woman who I met through school who really wants to watch my daughter for me. She has 6 grown kids of her own and misses having babies in the house. I live with my parents right now, go to school 5 nights a week for 20 hours a week and my parents watch her while I'm at school. However, they are totally against me going out at night to be with my friends because we would be at a bar and refuse to watch her for me then. I am very responsible when it comes to going out to bars, I don't get drunk, just a few drinks and socializing with friends. What my parents are worried about is the "quality" of the other people at the bar. My dad is paranoid and thinks everyone is on drugs and that since I have a baby I shouldn't be around that. I believe that it's possible to go out, have fun, and be safe. What do you guys think?

I was just wondering how you go about this. I want to make sure my car seat is properly installed for my little one. I know the fire department checks this out for you so what I was wondering is do I have to wait for a specific event where they do this or can I just bring my car down for inspection?
I know I should probably just call, but I thought I would ask first. I feel silly bothering the fire department if you know what I mean.

Doc says no cereals, egg protien, wheat protien, legumes or cow milk - that eliminates pretty much eveything.
Please advise....

What has taken you by suprise, been good, bad or otherwise. I have a 5 week old and cannot believe how far a new baby can actually projectile vomit. He is adorable. I am just interested to find out how other new first time mums/moms are going.

I am starting to get a bit bored being at home so much - i have been out walking and shopping but need some other things to do. Will visit friends and get out more next week when hubby goes back to work.

first, the doctor induced her at 36 weeks and delivered the baby butt first

then the baby's oxygen level dropped to 79 and his arms and legs turned purple, but as long as he stayed in the oxygen tent he was OK

she was fine, no high blood pressure, no toxemia, and she wasn't in labor, she was having some contractions and was dialated 1cm when he gave induced labor

so is it normal to induce at 36 weeks?

is it normal to birth a breached baby?

if anybody has heard of anything like this, or any thoughts on this, please tell me about it

My wife had our first child 8 weeks ago, a boy, and I'm so proud of him! I want him and I to be as close as possible as he grows up and be as involved as I can with his life. I was wondering what things I can do with him to make sure we're very close.

He tells us not to let children of school age around my baby because they carry the most germs during cold and flu season. Does anyone elses Dr. says the same thing? I have a six year old niece and my sister is mad at me because I said they have to wait to visit. My Dr. says if my baby gets a fever above 100.4 in the first 2 or 3 months of life they must admit her to the hospital and perform a bunch of test including a lumbar tap. He says it is necessary because they must rule out more serious illness that could've caused the fever. Am I being anal about keeping the school age kids away?
