my sisters baby has 7 teeth now and can drink out of a straw and sippy cup but how do we get her away from that botte?

my 11 month old daughter rolls over like a pro.she get's on her stomach but she won't get into a crawling position she lifts her legs all the way up.she's also not sitting by herself yet that really worries me a lot.she won't really reach for toys she loves to play with her hands and her bib.i was wondering if anybody has gone throw this with their babies and are they okay?

i have a grumpy 9 month old who wont go to sleep becouse he is teething. i have tryed the baby teething jell and the teething tablets. the teething rings dont even seem to work, anyone know what else i can try?

When babies are born and if it is a girl, why is a girl's color pink? and if a boy is born, why is a boy's color pink? Like for their baby shower. why do girls get pink and why do boys get blue?

I am only a few weeks from my due date and I was wondering what needs to be washed before baby comes home? I already washed most of the newborn outfits, but do I need to wash the sheets, quilt, bumper pad, bed skirt (all the items that came with the bedding), towels, and anything that is going to touch baby? And should I wash it all now before he gets here?

This question is silly, I just want to know when african american newborns are born do all of them have straight hair like Cacasian people do? do most have light skin. I'm am a light skin African American to. When does there hair start to become more natual? Just wanting to know beacuse I saw this very cute baby in this African american guy hands I dont know If It African American. I am going to do this I am 31 weeks right now and need to know any advice from the ones that have done from there own choice.
I have a really high tolerance to pain and can remain calm . I have taken child birth classes as well. MY inlaws tell me there isnt a way I can do this with out something but I am going to prove them wrong :)
I am doing this out of choice and I found out I cant because I have had back operations and have metal in my back
Anyway any personal advice?

I have a 12 day old son and his umbilical cord fell off a coupl days ago, there was a small piece till there which fell off today but now its bleeding...is this normal or should i be worried its not bleeding a lot.

I have a 8th month old baby. For the past 3 day hes been running a fever..but at night it gets worse. He doesnt really have any other syptoms. His fever ranges from 102 to 104. Yesterday his tummy was making alot of gurggles. Ive been giving him baby motrin. But I hate giving it to him all the time. And sometimes it seems to help for a while. I also called the Doc and he really didnt say anything, but I didnt agree with what he said. Please give me some anwers..Thanx!

i have a 6 month old daughter that is very HYPER! i sit down and play with her and play with her in all of her toys and she has a bunch of different toys. is there something i can do where she will sit still and play and be excited?

My son is 5 1/2 months old he loves to sit in his walker and has discovered that he can move around himself . At the clinic today the midwife said that was to early for him to be sitting in a walker, because his back mussels have not developed properly. He loves it and he is only in it for 10 / 15 minutes at a time. He loves to bounce and jump around and he does this by himself Has anyone else done this. He cant fall down any stairs or tip on anything and there is no older childeren to tip him out. What do you think and what have you done

My son is 8mo old and just started (Earth's Best) 3rd foods. He is currently sitting up on his own, but not crawling yet. I watch him when he eats and I'm not sure if he is really mashing food with his gums (since I don't really know what I'm looking for). How do I know if he is ready for finger foods? If he is do you have any suggestions for good organic first finger foods? When is it safe to start something like the Gerber puffs and is there an organic version of those?

My baby is almost two months old and three weeks ago we started introducing a bottle. This week i'm back at work and she gets a bottle twice a day and the breast after i come back. She's been fussy at the breast about half way through the feeding, but once i give her the second breast she seems to be ok. Should i also try to pump out the rest of the milk?

My baby 4,5 month. She doesn't mind swaddling. But she is trying to suck on her fingers and puls hand up to her mouth tacking the paci out. I tried to unswaddle, but she is having hard time falling asleep.
