I really like the Luvs now for my 4 month old. When he still had his umbilical cord, I used the Huggies that had the u shaped cut out at the top for the umbilical cord. Its trail and error, you will find which kinds works best for you little one.

I've tried 'em all! Don't stock up on one brand 'til you make sure baby won't have an allergic reaction. My firstborn had an allergic reaction to the expensive ones(Huggies & Pampers swaddlers, ) the ones I like, as long as I don't have to buy them.LOL I used to use the cheapest- Parents' Choice and Drypers, but they seem to not hold much, and when babies first wake up they are soaked! I only use them now when babe is about 18 months old and older, because they don't seem to pee so much at one time. LUVs is a good choice for high quality and they're not too expensive. (kind of middle ground, there.) I actually have many different kinds of diapers right now, because family usually buys some when they come visit! Every baby's different! Good Luck to you.
Oh, yeah, I forgot about White Cloud. They're cheap and work well.

For one there is no "best" diaper..It`s all a matter of opinion and preference....I have an 8 month old son and I use White Cloud from Wal-mart..To me they work just as good, if not better than the "expensive" brands. I did like Pampers Swaddlers and Huggies were good to..But I did not like the Huggies Supreme`s though..My son peed out of them every time!! Good Luck on your search for the "best" diaper!!!

This depends on your budget, your preferences, and your baby's reaction to various brands. Personally I can't stand the smell of Pampers or Huggies when wet, so we went with generic diapers (from CVS or Babies R Us), which also cost far less. We've also done cloth diapers, which have various other benefits.

Pretty much all disposable diapers, regardless of brand, have the same level of absorption and flexibility for baby. Try a few and see!

Huggies and Pampers are pretty neck and neck (they hold the most.... er um... waste), but how well they prevent leaks depends on the shape of your baby's bottom. My cousin swore by Pampers while I couldn't use them on my kids without having blowouts. Huggies fit my kids way better.

P.S. The guy who said cloth diapers were best obviously has no kids and never tried cloth diapers because they are awful! (talk about leaks and diaper rash... whoa baby!) Besides laundering all those diapers hurts the planet more than burying a few diapers that WILL break down after a couple of years (they don't make them out of plastic anymore).

Of the name brands, I definitely would say Luvs. They leak less than Pampers or Huggies did.

Now we use the Sam's Club brand. They're way cheaper, come in bigger packages and work just as well.

Just make sure your baby doesn't have an allergic reaction. Our son's daycare put a diaper on him that was another child's, and I don't know what brand it was, but he broke up with a rash and sores like nothing I've ever seen.

It truly does depend on your baby. I've had 4 and used 3 different brands of diapers. It is sometimes frustrating to find the right one.

With our first we used Luvs. With our second I believe we used Pampers. The 3rd used White Cloud and so is the 4th.

Price doesn't necessarily mean it is better than others!

OK if you don't have alot of money Luvs, other then that Pampers works best for my son. I noticed though if a child has no butt and skinny legs huggies tend to work better they are a little tighter then pampers. try a mix of the three and see what works best for your child's body shape. If you go to the websites you can order free samples.

PAMPERS!!!! Hands down. For little babies pampers swaddlers are the best you can get! They could hold the hoover dam and they work well for movement. Whatever you do, do not use Luvs! They leak and break open. They made a bad rash on my daughter and they do nothing for movement. Use pampers. They are definatly the best.

For me, Pampers. I have been a baby nurse for over 14 years and I will give Pampers diapers two thumbs up and five stars.
