Can you breastfeed a baby when they are teething or teeth have come through? And what is the chance that a baby will bite your nipple, instead of suckling?
Has anyone ever breastfed a baby that has teeth?

what did/do you feed your infant when s/he first started eating solids? like did you give your baby a jar of baby food for breakfast and a bottle and just formula for the rest of the day? or for dinner instead of breakfast? or only half of a jar a day with formula? or just a jar of food without formula once a day? basically what did you feed your baby at each feeding throughtout the day?

Please help me. My son doesn't sleep. He wakes up almost every 2 hours & he won't go to bed before 11. Sometimes he sleeps 4 hours. We are exhausted it can't go on forever. We recently moved & had to live in a hotel for 2 month. During this time he transitioned from cosleeping to crib, but slept in the same room. Now he has his own room but he won't sleep by himself. He sleeps fine with us in bed, but is this healthy? How can I encourage him to sleep alone? What can I do? I get NO sleep. I am worried about letting him "cry it out" I can't seem to do that b/c I love him so much & don't want to neglect him. If I go into his room when he is crying - SOMETIMES, I can sooth him back to sleep, but usually he cries as soon as he hits the mattress or when he wakes up he cries. He is teething, but still, he is cutting his 8th tooth, so he is at least familiar with the process. (not that it doesn't hurt, but it isn't his 1st)

Can anyone help me please??????????????????????????

I have a six month old baby boy and started him on stage 2 foods already. He was hungry all the time and seemed to be doing just fine with the stage1 foods (besides still being hungry after 1 jar and one 8oz bottle). The stage 2 foods fill him up nicely and he doesnt cry about it and goes back to being his happy self. Well I just took him to the doctor today..and they said that he can only have stage 1 foods still becuase he cannot digest them yet..and no fruit..and a 2oz of juice in the morning and 2oz of juice at night..or water in the morning..I have stage 2 nipples for the bottles (fast flow) and she said no to that..only use slow flow...but yet he can use a sippy cup now..I guess I dont understand..and would like to know what other parents were told. Thanks a bunch

I like to keep cleaning wipes (nothing strong smelling or that contains bleach) in my bathroom and when I give my girls their bath, I use this time to wash the bathroom. I obviously wash my hands before cleaning them! This way I get two things done at once and I still get to play and interact with them at the same time through songs and silly games!

Do you have any time saving hints that would be useful so that we can all spend more time with our little ones! Thanks in advance!

My breasts aren't pumping enough, and my 3 week old is going to start going to daycare in 3 more weeks, I dont want to take her completely off the breast milk, but i cant seem to pump enough for what she will need as she goes to daycare. I am going to be gone for 10 hour days! Can I give her breast milk at home and send formula for the daycare? or can't they be mixed like that?

The reason I ask is that it is only like once every two months for us....dh has been very understanding up until last night because I am breastfeeding. My son is seven months old.
I feel bad for him, but I am just not in the mood.

I was wondering if you put medicine in a cup of juice or water, will it dilute or affect the dossage of the medicine? Also if you give water or juice right after does this affect the dossage of the medicine?

This question is not specific to any age group (infants, toddlers or children).

Thanks in advance for your answers and have a great day!

my daughter is 10 months old, when me and my husband are with her she clings to me more than him, she gets excited to see me, but when we go out she puts her arms out to be held by anyone, i like it thats shes social and not shy but when im around my mom or best friend which is about once a week my daughter cant get out of my hands fast enogh to get into theirs, and this upsets me and makes me feel like she likes them better, like yesterday me and my best friend went to the store and came back my daughter crawled past me to get to her, my question is does anyone elses kids do this, is it normal for me to feel this way.

My sister just had her baby. She is the cutest thing! What kind of gift should I buy for her that doesn't cost too much. I spent a little too much on her baby shower and I am a little tight with money now. Is there anything inexpensive, but thoughtful I can get her? Thanks in advance!!

I feed my daughter rice cereal in the morning and jar food at lunch and supper followed with a bottle of regular milk after every feeding. I still nap her with formula to make sure she is getting the proper vitamins.
Can I give her cold regular milk or should i still warm it up? she is 7 months old. I give her baby juice cold and she likes it alot. If i give her too much cold liquids would that cause stomach ache?

I have a 1 yr old baby girl. She has been using a sippy cup very well since she was 5 months old. Since I had such a hard time getting my first born to let the bottle go, I recently put my baby's bottles away. She has been doing fine without them, but I wonder is she too young? Also she still wakes sometimes at night because she is thristy, I know it is bad to give them juice at night, so what cn I do about that? When ever she is given juice, my husband and I always dilute her juice 1/2 juice 1/2 water. Thanks!
