I feed my daughter rice cereal in the morning and jar food at lunch and supper followed with a bottle of regular milk after every feeding. I still nap her with formula to make sure she is getting the proper vitamins.
Can I give her cold regular milk or should i still warm it up? she is 7 months old. I give her baby juice cold and she likes it alot. If i give her too much cold liquids would that cause stomach ache?

I give her formula 4 times a day, and cow milk 2 times. I'm not just giving her cows milk. I warm up the formula though, but im not sure if i should with cows milk.

You can stop at anytime, but remember that the reason you are doing this (warming the milk) is to make it easier on the stomach to digest the milk. When it is at a body temp, there is going to be less time sitting there. Whereas when the cold milk is just sitting in the stomach, it begins fermenting from the gastric acids, until it gets to the temp where the stomach can readily begin to absorb it. Giving it cold is probably going to cause more burping , barfing, and colic (gas). It's a digestion thing.

No, babies under 12 months should not be drinking regular cow's milk. Formula or Breast milk until 12 months. Period. You can see how she likes it cold...it shouldn't hurt her. The reason you warm it when they are newborns and infants is because the cold can shock their stomachs and make them vomit. (as opposed to little spit up, vomit is nearly ALL of the milk...very counter productive for feeding) Maybe don't warm it up as much, maybe so it's more like room temp, and so it's not so ice cold. In the hot months, it might be a good idea to leave it nice and cold.

Sure it is okay. At some point it should stop, so why not now. It is also more convenient to not have to warm milk when you are going out. Than you don't have to worry about keeping the milk warm or finding a way to warm the bottle when you are out w/baby. Sounds like you are doing a great job with your baby's nutrition, keep up the great work!

If she drinks cold juice, then try her on cold milk. If she accepts it, there's your answer. If not, keep warming it. I don't think cold liquids are going to give her a stomach ache. What could is if she drinks them down too fast and gets bubbles of gas in her stomach, but then that's just a burp away.

They say not to give the child regular milk untill they are one year old. Youdo not have to warm milk or formula up. Some babies wont drink it warm which is how my son was. If the child will drink it then thats all that matters not the temp of it.

My daughter drank every bottle from about the age of 2 months cold, she didn't like them warmed up, and it is not true that they will get a stomach ache from a cold bottle.

My son is 11 months previous and surely REFUSES chilly formula or milk. he will flat out scream and throw it whether that is chilly. we've tried gradually changing it, and chilly turkey, yet neither artwork.. Room temperature is slightly distinctive, he will fortuitously drink it. heat is for mattress time in basic terms. All you're able to do is wait till he's waiting for the exchange. you should grant gradually changing a attempt, and if it works for you - large! each infant is distinctive, and you will possibly be able to discover that he's taking it plenty extra undemanding than you think of. besides, solid luck. =] EDIT - do not project, you're actually not coming off as a undesirable determine. in case you have been harming or neglecting your baby then you definately could be undesirable, yet in this occasion, that is purely some thing that desires purely slightly help.... With bottles, start up along with his center of the day ones being slightly cooler than generic, and notice how he's taking it. make helpful he's not cranky or drained. grant the cooler bottle to him, and don't supply in while he does not prefer it. don't get under pressure if he's not involved interior the cooler feeling. as long as you flow slowly with it, he might desire to not relatively observe besides.

I stopped heating it up at about 5-6 months or just zapped it in the microwave for 10 seconds to get the chill out.
