If you haven't had any reactions it should be OK, but they do make other flavors besides strawberry that would be fine. Just remember when introducing them to new foods not to over do It. Moderation is the key.

First to address the strawberry issue- I asked my son's pediatrician the same question. Supposedly babes can't have strawberries until they are one, yet a lot of baby food is strawberry flavored! Anyway, the Doctor told me that once the strawberries have been cooked and processed, they are fine to feed a baby. He said that most people aren't actually allergic to strawberries they are "reactive" to strawberries and may get a small rash around their lips or something like that (which he said is harmless and is not a reason to stop feeding them strawberries)

Second- are you feeding her whole milk yogurt? a lot of yogurt is made with low fat or fat free milk. At 8 months, babies still need to good fats that whole milk provides. Try to look for the big tubs of whole milk yogurt, or yobaby yogurt (which is also whole milk)

Not if it has high-fructose corn syrup. You dont want her developing a taste for it. Except for a few and mostly organics "kids" yogurts are basically candy with all the sugar. So if you wouldnt give her candy yet - check the sugar content. Also strawberries lose what ever cauese their allergic reaction when cooked. My advice would be to mix fresh fruit with plain yogurt. Also Im for giving yogurt before 1 year. Even though it is cows milk, if it has the live cultures, those are great benefits.

it depends on how much if it is just a treat OK but not as her every day food yogurt doesn't have the vitamins the infant food does

Yogurt is cows milk, and introduced to early could lead to allergies when she is older. i do think that the harm is probably done by now, but to be safe, I would stop until she is 1.

If you have given it to her, and it caused no reaction (most common is a rash on her face) than go ahead and keep giving it to her....

I would wait just in case. Its not like peanut butter but I would still hold off ... when in doubt its always best to just wait.
