a question was asked by someone else on how to get there mother in law to stop buying her teen daughters clothes and underwear from victorias secret.. this baffled me.. what is wrong with it as long as it is not revealing . victorias secret carries a line for teens called PINK, it consists of cotton underwear and bras and the clothing line carries mostly swearpants and hoodies, the logo is even a little dog which is printed on most of the underwear... dont you think by this mother telling there daughter there is something wrong with it.. that she is the one putting the dirtiness to it, by introducing that thought to her daughters.. they prolly just think of it as a name barand.. the clothes and underwear are better quality, the dont fall apart when you wash them and they are made to fit better and be more comfortable.. so do you think there is something wrong with it.

My daughter just turned 1 yr, and I'm ready to wean her off of breastfeeding. She is not happy with this decision! She has a milk allergy so the doctor wants her on soy milk, which is fine by me. I have tried to replace her afternoon feeding with milk, but she refuses to drink it. I don't really want to go "cold turkey" with her because I am afraid she will not get the calcium intake she needs. Does anyone have any tricks to get her to like her milk? I'd rather not use chocolate or strawberry syrups unless I absolultely have to. Regardless ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

my son is two months old now, and has gone from eating 4 ounces every three hours to barely struggling through 2 sometimes 3 ounces every three hours, he only wants to eat 2 ounces but i coax him into eating a half to one more ounce usually.
my mother says to stop, just let him eat what he wants when he wants, but he has a serious cleft, his first sergury is next month (at three months old) and if he is not a healthy weight they will cancel the sergury.
he has several doctors and i am getting conflicting advice from them, the craniofacial doctor insist that he must eat 4 ounces every three hours to stay healthy
the regular doctor says he is perfectly healthy and if he only wants to eat two ounces i should try feeding him more often, i've done that much he'll have none of it, he just screams if i try to feed him before he wants to he, he wants to eat two ounces every three hours..
I am beside myself, i don't want him to miss this sergury, we've worked really hard for this..

I exclusively nursed for about 3 months, then went about a month nursing and formula...then my nipples started to crack so bad they bled when my son nursed, so i've stopped for about 2 days...

I love breast feeding baby boy, but would hate to give him pcychological problems by clinging on to him long.He won't take bottles and isn't interested in powdered milk.Cups and straws work, but more in terms of play time.Bed time milk feed is what I need to get him to learn and take from dad.

Im 18 almost 19, im in college, im in between jobs and I don’t pay any of my bills except for my cell phone and gas in my car. I rarely hang out with my friends because I am concentrating on school, never done drugs (I do not intend to either), and I rarely drink and my curfew is usually between 12-1230 depending who im with. I just met this guy about three days ago and I haven’t told my parents about him, I cant tell my brother because he’ll tell my parents and I don’t want to, however I can’t cover this guy for eternity. When I go somewhere by myself my parents think im acting strange and want to know if that’s really where im going. They are the type of parents that I feel would follow me just to make sure that’s where im going so I don’t think I can see this guy anymore, I want to be my own independent self that doesn’t have to tell mommy and daddy who I am hanging out with. I know I have to start paying my bills and take responsibility on that end but still im young and I want to live life and not by secrets. When I was in high school I never stayed out late, never snuck out of the house, I always called to tell them when I was going somewhere or when I left one friends house to go to another friends house (I still do that) i always do what they tell me to and when they tell me to do it. Should I be rebellious?

I was feeling nauseated when i used some walmart brand prenatel pills, but the midwife called in a prescription to walgreens and now these dont make me sick if at all.

Will i get sick later or if im not sick now i shouldnt be?

i take full responsibility for this problem but now i need help. i have a 6 week old baby girl. she suffers from colic and for the last week or so has been suffering from a cold and cough and couldnt lie flat so she has been sleeping on my chest with me sitting up. now she wont lie down at all. i feel really bad and like a terrible mother leaving her to scream but i cant sleep sitting up any longer and i cant get anything done in the house. please help xxx

Im 25 weeks and have gained 20 pounds. I know itshealthy and I am not obsessing about it now but I am starting to think about my "attack plan" after my son is born. What did you do and how long did it take you to lose it? Were you ever able to get your pre-pregnancy body back? Im 31 so I dont expect to bounce back like I would if I were 18 but please tell me there is hope! Lol. thanks and have a great weekend.

I think I'm pregnant but I took a test last night it was negative I'm due like in 1 week 4 my period. Funny thing happened cuz my nipples are tender so I sqeezed my nipples and it looks like milk. Alot can out I was like WOW. So is this a sign of baby or period coming?

im 30 weeks & i feel like im not attractive to my bf anymore. (soon to be husband) I feel so guilty feeling that way, but i dont know how to stop feeling that way! I love him so much, but when it comes to being intimate i cant do anything with him. it DISGUSTS ME. I cant stand him at all, the whole time ive been pregnant he eats and eats and eats. I swear its like if hes pregnant not me.

ok so my baby is 6 weeks old and weights right at 8 pounds now "she was a preemie" we use the pampers new borns that are up to 10 pounds but then there are also some papers that say 8-10 pounds we use the swaddler ones so which ones should we be using the newborns that say up to 10 pounds or the newborns that say 8-10 pounds im kind of confused? Thanks in advance.

The last time I was pregnant it was the same thing and I ended up have a miscarriage. I'm really nervous that the same thing will happend again. Does anybody know if the baby stops growing, would I still have this tiredness symptom?

What can I take, or are there any home remedies that will help me beat this a little quicker? I've got the sneezing and cogestion. I kind of feel a little achy like I might have a fever (I'm at work and don't have a thermometer). I know that the coughing and sneezing won't hurt the baby. What about the fever- if I have one?

I have just learned that I have an abnormal pap. I have HPV, low grade and they want to do a colposcopy. I am 13 weeks pregnant and when they want to do the colposcopy I will be 17 weeks. I think that if its low grade why cant i just wait to have it taken care of 6 weeks post pregnancy?? I dont like the idea of having that performed when Im pregnant! Any thoughts?

Hi all,

wondering if anyone has any tips.. i have a 7 week old son.. ive established a wonderful night time routine.. bath, bottle, bed.. he falls asleep on his own in his moses basket at 7pm, sleeps through till 3.. feeds then straight back to sleep... so im pretty proud of myself for sticking to this... however, its during the day thats getting me down... he takes a feed.. sleeps for approx 20-30mins and then spends the rest of the time approx 3 hours crying till the next feed.. the only time he stops crying is when i take him outside, he falls asleep straight away and stays asleep for up to 3 hours, but obviously i have to stay indoors sometimes.. any tips on how to get a content baby during the day indoors ??... the constant crying is wearing me down
