Talk about best friends doing everything together! I have twins due in February, while hers are due in March.

She's chosen the names Aimee and Kateri to reflect her husband's French culture. She wants a middle name that's either French, or of Irish/Celtic origin. (She's Irish) An English middle name is fine though.

Middle names for Aimee and Kateri

Thanks!!

I already posted a question about the name
Kailar Rayne.
But after looking through some baby name websites we found the name...Gracelyn!
My husband and I love it..but I still want some opinions!

Gracelyn Rayne Peterson.

Middle name pronounced "Rain".

I know that there may be some of you that do not like this name,I respect your opinion but please do not be rude about it.
There are nice ways to express your dislike towards the name.

Thanks in advance. =)

I have got the baby think it over from school. When it cries as it wants the nappy change, the sensor on the nappies does not work. I cannot seem to get the doll to stop crying and it then starts screaming. HELP!!! I am trying everything as it is not registering a nappy change therefore it is counting it as a neglect.

PLEASE HELP!!

What do you think of the name Maynard? It stands for the strong and brave one. It is also the name of mine and my husbands icon, Maynard James Keenan, frontman and genius behind the band Tool. My family of course hates it, but we have strong feelings about the name.

or is it just being self absorbed. the reason I ask is because I decided to take $100 out of my christmas this year and buy gifts for 2 of my friends who can't celebrate due to financial problems. I just called my dad to ask him to see if it was ok and he said he was very very proud of me and I could tell by his voice that he truly was and after I got off the phone I started to cry a little bit...now I feel really really self absorbed, and I wasn't crying because I was giving up my money...I could care less about money so i think i was just proud of myself? do you think that is self absorbed?

My neice is a senior in high school, graduating this June. She has only been going to this school for the past 3 years. Some of her other Aunts and Uncles wanted us to go in with them to get her class ring (not gold, the cheap one). If you were a senoir in high school would you want that now? Don't you usually get it as a freshman? I was in high school a million years ago and thats when we got them, then no one wore them after high school.
If this was going to be one of your only gifts you received this year, would you like to have that or something else?

I am now 10 weeks pregnant and for the past three weeks have avoided eating meats of any kind. Just thinking about it makes me get sick to my stomach. I am craving vegetables and it seems to be the only thing that is keeping me satisfied and my tummy settled. I hope I am not robbing my baby of protein in eating veggies all the time. Any protein replacement ideas?

My son is almost 18 months old..and i know that i am definatly a little bit overprotective with what i put into his tummy. He usually only gets natural foods without artificial flavors, colors, and no preservatives. I know that he's healthy because he's never been sick. But my husband keeps insisting that we feed him more normal foods like spaghettie and pizza. Is it safe to give pasta to a baby?????????????????????????????????

My 11 weekold baby girl sleeps really good at night in her crib only waking 1x. During the day I'm trying to get her to sleep in her crib but she usually won't and if she does fall asleep it is a short catnap 30 mins. She is tired and cranky when she wakes. The she naps long is when she is in her car seat. Or stroller. Is it ture that if she is not used to her cribs for daytime naps that as she gets older it will be harder to for her to take naps in her crib. To note I try to put her to sleep drowsy but not fully awake. I'm not for the cry it out method. I don't let her sleep in my arms only once in a while.

Since my son was a newborn I absolutely loved the smell of his breathe. Even now he is 2 & I love to lay right near him when he is sleeping to feel him breathing & smell his breathe.. Is this totally weird or a normal Mom thing?? Does anyone else understand this? Please no dumb remarks. Thanks

Hi everyone!

Have any of you ever dreamt of your baby before he or she was born? When they were born, were they the same gender as they were in your dream(s)?? Anything familiar when they were born?

I'm 15 1/2 weeks preg now and having CONSTANT dreams of a little baby boy. Just last night, I had a dream I gave birth, went home from the hospital and cuddled a little boy in a blankie. He was PRECIOUS beyond words =)

I just started having these little boy dreams - before that I *felt* a little boy, but never dreamt of him so vividly like I'm dreaming now!

But how many of you just *knew* it was a boy or it was a girl, just from your dreams while pregnant?

So curious - thanks! =)
