Hi Sarah, You did the right thing by asking for help. If your mom isn't listening then you really need to talk to someone you feel comfortable with any one.Maybe your Friends mom or a favorite teacher (even one from last yr) They can help you tell your mom, and if she still isn't listening they can MAKE her.As someone who's been there done that.Gotta tell you it does get better.I PROMISE. Please get help. As you can see ther are people who care.NOW stop hurting yourself.Call one of the #s you been given or some one you think will listen.OK I'm rooting for you. I know your hurting. But you CAN do this .Tell someone now.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got done reading a book, like literally 5 mins ago I finished the last page.
It was called Thirteen Reasons Why.
But it was about a depressed girl who eventually took her life.
And no one payed attention the signs and no one payed attention to her unless it was for other reasons.

So I think Ill pay attention to you. I wouldnt put anything past an 11 year old.

Tell someone. Make them listen make them hear you. Make sure they know you are serious about being depressed.

The worst people to go to are school councelors, go to your favorite teacher instead.

There are many people with emotional pain like you. I hate to say this but, your mom is not fufilling her duty as a good parent. She's letting her love to her fiancee more than you. I suggest first going to your school counselor. You may not believe it but school counselors are trained to help AND fix your problem. You may be hesitant for some time but small steps lead to the most fufilling journeys. Maybe you should have your mom over with one of your sessions with the counselor. Hopefully, she'll notice her mistake for abandoning you like that.

personally, i had a shitty time with school counsellors when i was a kid but maybe the one at your school is better and good to talk to...there are also kids helplines and distress lines which can give you better information than we can and i have friends who have worked for those so i know there are intelligent, caring people there who probably have some good ideas..you have nothing to lose by making a free call and you can always ignore them if you don't like what they say

tell her you need to talk to her about something and say how her relationships are affecting you.
she should understand because your not alone and many people are depressed like you.
music always helps for me so try to listen to music to cheer u up.
dont cut yourself thats bad. when ever you feel like cutting yourself do sumthing to take ur mind off of it.

but just tell your mum u need to talk about a serious matter with her and explain how your feeling and what youve been doing. she is your mum so will understand.

Sweetie, you just have to tell your mom how you are feeling so you can get some help. If she won't listen to you, talk to a teacher at school or someone at church. Good luck to you! (((Hugs)))

Tell her you're cutting yourself and that you want to see a psychiatrist. Hopefully she'll see the cry for help, and allow it.
