Does it benefit the child more if the mother goes back to work or stays home.

My son is year old. We have no family to help with childcare. I started a part time job when he was just 8 weeks old but I was so tired all time it just didn't work out, so I've been home looking after him since July.

My partner works full time but is on minimum wage. We have a mortgage and don't get any help with housing costs, council tax etc (so don't worry, you're not supporting us with your taxes!). We struggle really badly and can barely break even some months, its really hard.

I don't know what would be worse for my baby son - to live like this in pretty much poverty or to be left with strangers in a daycare creche if I can find a job. He's very clingy and I think we would both find it really hard (he's ever even been left with a babysitter as yet), but I know we can't go on living like this.

Do you think its better to cope with no money rather than leave a young child in daycare?

i think now is the time for her 1st major growth spurt (10-14 days) but it seems like the only time she is content is when she is on the "boob". Last night, I was so exhausted...so i gave her formula (she doesnt like bottles too much, so it took her awhile to take 1 ounce) But i got hubby to give her another ounce about an hour later and she seemed to take it better from him ( i guess with me giving her a bottle, she doesnt want it cuz she can smell the breastmilk)
She does take a paci, but not for very long. She seems so fussy lately (even before i supplemented with formula) I am almost thinking just to wean to formula. i have a 23 month old that is striving for attention, too...and with her attached to me all day, it is not helping the attention issue with big brother.

Any suggestions

A few nights ago at the dinner table, I told him, "eat your chicken, baby". He replied with the most serious response, "I'm not baby, mama, I'm Brett Favre". Since then, anytime we call him by his name, he corrects us and says he's Brett Favre.

I just got back from the doctor and I found out that I "failed" my 1 hour gb testing. Now monday I have to go to the 3 hour fasting one. Has anyone had this happen and not actually have gb's??? Nobody that I know of has gb on my side of the family either. But if I do have it what can I expect and is that why I'm so tired all the time...Oh and they said that I had protein in my urine...is that anything to worry about either...

My 17 month old daughter,Charlotte isn't sleeping well at night anymore.I put her to bed at 7 she's asleep by 1/4 past and then wakes again at around 1/2 8.I settle her and she goes to sleep and then wakes about an hour later.This goes on all night.She's my 1st.This just started all of a sudden about a week ago.Is this normal???

I'm an older brother to a 15-nearly 16 year old male.
We've shared a room for a long time, but several days ago, I was only kind of half asleep and noticed him masturbating by torchlight, In our room. I didn't say anything and just rolled over and went back to sleep, I think he must have stopped because he asked if I was awake when I rolled over, whether or not he kept going I don't know.
I've been doing it since I was 13, no doubt he's been doing it just as long, He's walked in on me doing it a few times by accident, And we've both seen each other naked dozens of times, He's also told me he does it, and I've never really batted an eye to any of it, but for some reason, this really gave me a smack in the face.
I still don't know whether to say anything in case I embarress us both. I know there's nothing wrong with it but actually seeing him doing it has me gobsmacked 4 some reason.

Hello, Y'all,

I was wondering how at home pregnancy test work?

And also, does it matter when you take them? Because my fried, it'd been two weeks since she's gotten her period and she just took a test and it came up negative, does that mean she's not pregnant. or could that mean she needs to take it around the time she's supposed to get it?

Oh, and her going to the doctor is out of the question, she's very busy and it takes an hour to get to her doctor and she doesn't think it's the important, she'll just find out eventually.

Im not pregnant but apparently a lady that is very accurate in predicting wat one will have in the future told me i would have 1 girl and two boys.

I wanted more girls than boys but im thinking of wat boy and girl names to name them but i cant decide.

If you found out you were pregnant with a baby. And the doctors told you this pregnancy is high risk and you possibly could die if you do not get an abortion.

What would you do and why?

Personally, I would go ahead with the pregnancy because I could not see myself giving a child's life up in order to save my own. I am a total believer in that I done saw life and giving someone else that chance to experience life.

This is based on a true story about this girl who lost her life.

My son is 6, and he has his heart set on having a brother named Jack Robert. He uses that name all the time when he plays pirates and so on, he found a turtle and named it Jack Robert... he just loves that name. He started talking about his brother Jack Robert about a year and a half ago, and now that we're actually thinking up baby names, I'm wondering would it be horrible to just go with that? Would you be annoyed if you only got your name because your brother thought it was a good pirate name? i have to say. I have been trying to have a child for about 3 years now. I don't know what is wrong with me.

I got my period on November 18th. I have sex Nov 29th, 30th. And Dec 1st and 2nd.

I know those were my days.

I been getting this pain in my back for a few days.

And last night I started getting cramps. I just know I am going to get my period.

I also know because every month befor I get my period. I get alot of air up there. And it comes out all day long. Not like a fart.

I just wish it would be my turn again.

My daughter is 8. And I want her to have a brother or sister.

I just don't know.
