i would like to know how active a baby should be at 36wks of pregnancy. if my baby is not as active as some does that mean something is wrong/

I am 36 1/2 weeks right now and I am having a really hard time cooking dinner, because it just hurts to stand and walk around the small space that is my kitchen! I am currently eating a microwaved baked potato and my husband is eating pizza rolls! LOL He works all day AND can't cook... especially not healthy foods. Any suggestions? Other than telling me to have someone else do it for me.......

My 5 1/2 month old son broke out in a big case of the hives tonight. I was so freaked I took him immediately to the ER. They were all over his arms legs and around his mouth and neck/ears. I asked the doctor why he got them and he said he had no clue, but prescribed my hydracortisone for infants and sent me on my way. Now, I'm supposed to watch out for labored breathing. Has anyone had this happen to their child before and did you figure out the reason why? I haven't introduced any new foods, no new detergents and the baby soap I used today for his bath was the standard Johnson & Johnson baby bath wash. Does anyone have any suggestions or had this happen to their baby before?

For a creative writing piece my daughter is writing for a class.

Here is the synopsis of the charcter she dictated to me to type:

The girl is a tomboy and is sort of a bully. She's somewhat goth/punk but not to the extreme. favorite sports are softball and fieldhockey. She isn't someone that you'd ever want on your bad side. Although she seems tough on the outside she is really very insecure on the inside but tries to hide it. She doesn't have a good life at home and she takes out her anger on others, and herself by self injury (ie, cutting). She usually wants to keep to herself and has no problems missing out on an event, but she can also be outgoing, loud, and very sarcastic and witty.

So any suggestions for a name that fits that description. Tough sounding but not too unsusual?

My daughter is stuck on a name for this particular character and she always needs to get into her character for her too feel her writing is perfect. Thanks! she'll be really happy with the help!

my son, who turned one a week ago, has been running a temp of 102 for about 4 hours. He doesnt seem to have anything else going on other than the fever and a very slight cough... hes coughs are very rare.
my question is... at what temp should I call the doctor? I am already worried... because he has never really been sick. I called the "ask a nurse"-- she was absolutly NO help... a RN and had no idea what she was talking about? He had his MMRs on monday, but Im pretty sure this is not related.

I never understand why some parents feel the need for their children to be so perfect in school. They make it seem like getting all "A's" is the only way to smart, and anyone who gets "B" will never be equal to them. There's always this craving to go to the elite colleges (Brown, Yale, Harvard, Pepperdine, etc.) I've always felt that a child can get a superior education at a school that isn't of the highest ranks. It's not just the school that gives them the best education. The best education also depends on how children approach it.

My son has the worst breath sometimes. Horribly bad! I get him to brush his teeth and it still happens sometimes. I don't want him to get made fun of at school for it. Is there anything I can do? Anything he can eat to prevent it? He hates mint toothpaste he thinks its too hot. And I know he cant really gargle. I brush his tongue and cheeks too. Thanks!

Any other teens addicted to caffiene? I drink 4 cups of coffee each morning and at least 2 cans of soda per day. When I don't drink caffiene, I get headaches. How can I stop drinking as much caffiene?
