Last night when attempting to clean my 3 year olds ear.. i was trying to take the cue tip and put it only at the end of the ear opening and clean around it.. he inadvertantly moved toward the cue tip and it entered his ear quite quickly, he started crying and i imediatly looked inside to see a small bit of blood, it scared me so I watched it and by the time my husband got home he was sleeping and i figured ill call the dr in the morning.. did i puncture his ear drum.. i feel terrible and i just want to know if anyone has ever done this before and what are some problems.. just getting an idea till the dr can see him.. thank you.

On this page I read something invidious:
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk...
It says:
“According to research, attractive parents are 26% more likely to have a daughter than a son as their first child. It is an inexorable process that has resulted in women becoming increasingly more attractive than men”
“Beautiful parents have more daughters than ugly parents, because physical attractiveness is heritable and because daughters benefit from attractiveness more than sons.”
And on this page:
http://discovermagazine.com/2000/feb/cov...
“These are shifts of just a few millimeters, but experiments in this country and Scotland are suggesting that both males and females find "feminized" versions of averaged faces more beautiful.”

I want to have only biracail children, and I want to know if I'm the only person who feel this way. Multiracial people are so beautiful.

I took my daughter to the doctor yesterday. She has an ear infection, eye infection and sinus infection. They gave her an antibiotic shot around 3pm yesterday and they said to start the oral antibiotics today. I don't know if they meant start this morning or tonight. The Doctor and pharmacy are closed so I can't call and ask. It's a once a day antibiotic. Should I give it to her now or start it tonight?

I was asked a question the other day by a friend writing a paper for psychology class. It struck me hard and I was wondering how others would answer this same question.
If your spouse and child were in mortal danger and you could only save one which would it be? why?
The whole piont to this question is to test a therory that men an women will chose differently.

seems like no adays abortion is viewed as a form of birth control by teenagers today...even on yahoo answers you see kids as young as 12 and 13 asking about sex and about abortions....anyone else concerned about this?

sperm by itself is not an embryo. Conception starts when an egg and a sperm unite, creating an embryo.

At any rate, the spirit usually does not come into the baby's body until fairly late in the pregnancy.

Top contibutor my A$$...thats the dumbest thing i have ever heard....and how the hell would she know when the soul enters a babys bodie....???

Note: This is not my question. The person asking does not have an account.

"If abortion is murder, how do you feel about a man masturbating and then ejaculating into a sock? Think of it, millions of tiny souls, lost in a sock. That could have been a million little presidents, or doctors. Men should never masturbate and women should not get abortions. Right?"

Okay. She's typed it. And now she's fallen asleep. This question is from my 12 year old stepsister.

Happy Answering!

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 14 months now with no luck. My last period was October 25, so I'm quite a bit late...I'm on day 50 to be exact. I haven't had any really signicant symptoms or anything, so I kinda don't think I'm pregnant. But it's odd that my cycle has gone on so long. It's never been this long. I'm so afraid of getting a negative pregnancy test...that's why I've been such a procrastinator about it. I was thinking about waiting until Christmas Eve to test...maybe I'll get a Christmas miracle! What do you think? Should I wait until Christmas Eve or go ahead and test? Thanks to all that answer...
Symptoms so far:
-slighty sore nipples
-odd cramps that have been going on for awhile...they don't really hurt. They're just annoying.
-Constipation (sorry tmi)
-a lot of white stretchy thick cm...never seen it before
-backaches

My daughter is 7,her father and myself split up when she was roughly 3/4 months old(after i caught him cheating) i always said that i wouldnt stop him from seeing our daughter and i had a really good relationship with his parents, which was good as she often went and stayed with them, however the contact with her dad didnt last,he had more interest in drinking and getting laid, during the next few years i lost count of the many girlfriends he had(did me a favour really,as i saw him for the selfish person that he is!)i didnt let that get in the way of his contact,i always said that it should be my daughters choice to see him or not. During all of this i met somebody else who my daughter became very close to,even calling him dad,by then my ex dident even bother with contact just relied on his mum for updates as and when he was around. That is until he got somebody else pregneant, and moved to the next street up from us.

I am meant to be 7w5d pregnant and today i had a dating scan just to check my dates were right, but while i was in there the radiographer kept asking me if i was sure i was that far along and could i only be 4w3days, because of the size of the baby, he did tell me that he couldn't detect a heartbeat but that could be just because i am early into the pregnancy, but i got a positive test 4 weeks ago now so it has me confused and scared as i dont have an appt with my doc until monday and the radiographer couldnt tell me more as a doctor had to check the results,
but has anyone had an experience like this before, I just dont want to be needlessly stressing if it could all stil be ok,

My Grandson was born on the 4th of July and had 3 thumbs.
The Doctor waited a while to see which would be the stronger of the two. Now the one is just fine. He can do anything with it.
Makes mine hurt to see him bend it any which way.Works just fine. Does it's job as it is suppose to. Lee

And you could watch him try to do what us Mums do on an average day. Cook the tea, do the washing, keep the house respectable, care for the other children (as well as us), all while having a baby in their stomach rolling around. Plus he would have to deal with all our issues like we do theirs!!!
My Man would have a break down after 10 minutes!!! lol!! It would be so funny to see.
Anyone else think so???

I gave her up to adoption at birth, I did it for her I knew I would never make a mom. Now she's 22, and I've found her. Her family are cool, but she just not that interested. Most times she won't return my calls or nothing, she does meet me occasional, and she talk to me when I call, but she dont call me mom or nothing. I feel like I made a mistake now and i want to make up for lost time but she dont' aknowledge me as her mom. What the hell do I do?
