Your father needs to talk to a lawyer then. Generally around this age, a judge will listen to what a teenager has to say about where they have to live, as long as it's not something frivolous like Mom makes you have a curfew and Dad doesn't

If living with your dad is what you want then keep telling your mother that. she will understand eventually but it will take some time. it might be tough going through the courts emotionally so if all else fails (ie reasoning, mediation etc) then use it as a last resort. Good luck xx

Depending where you live once you turn 13 you can decide where you want to live. (It's not up to your parents anymore)
As the above poster said.. the courts will listen to you and your wishes at that age.
Perhaps if your dad could contact his lawyer and have them give the two of you the steps you need to take.
Best of luck

In Texas at 12 or 13 (can't remember) you can decide for yourself. Your parents can't make you stay with them. Unless of course the other parent is a bad parent.

You need to talk to both your parents and tell them what you want to do because if your state law appeals you can choose who you want to live with if your over the age of 13....!!!!

You actually can choose who you want to live with. If you are over 13 you can choose most likely. It's only when a kid is younger that they put it woth who can take care of them.
you have rights
