Our son is 20 months old and seems to be left-handed. No one else in our family is and we are a bit naive about it.
Is being left handed a disadvantage and something we should discourage and try to change? or should we just let nature take its course?

I noticed that young girls (20 and under) that have babies are mostly poor uneducated and living with their parents.... Why is that, and why do they think this is a good way of life for them or the poor child? I never could understand this...

It can be either a first or a middle name. It really has to flow well and we have a long last name. I will also take shortened or rearranged versions.

My daughter weights 18 pounds and she was eating every 4 hours and now it is every two hours. SHe can sit up with a little bit of help and she brings stuff to her mouth all the time. I tried to feed her rice cereal but she wont take it and i have done it about 20 times. I was thinking about starting her on vetables but wasnt sure if it was bad or not!

Help i dont know how to stop breastfeeding my 22 months daughter,she eat and drink everything she needs,but she wants the (boob) only for falling asleep,iv been doing this since shes born,and now i cant put her to sleep without it,she would cry nonstop! anyone in the same situation???help!!

ladies i had sex last month got my period and due now 4 another.. yet when i wipe i get clear mucusy things.. is that normal im 20? not a sign of pregnacy right?

okay so my little sister just got lice and she didn't know and she used my brush a few days ago and then i used that same brush. and now i'm scared that i mite have it. but she just found out yesterday. i made my mom go get lice shampoo and a lice comb so i can use it before i notice any lice on my head! i used it last nite and i think it worked. and today i saw little white dots in my hair, but i also have dandruff so i dont know what it is! i think its just lice eggs because i haven't seen any actual bugs. so i'm just wondering if the white dots are the eggs that got killed when i was using the lics shampoo but just didn't come out!
and any advice would be good too.

i know that when you are pregnant you should have check ups often. how far along should you be to get your first check up?

im wondering because my sister got pregnant and had to be seeing the doctor for check ups alot. when should the first one be?

well this is my 2nd baby and he is only 9 days old these past 3-4 days hes had alot of diarreha and as been throwing up alot
very watery stools and mostly spits up my breast milk ..formula has only spit up twice
i have a doctors appt. on friday but is it something i should worry about ? my first son never had a problem with that..
my son has a good appitite he eats every 2-3 hours so why is that??

I am not sure if I should let my 13-yr old son start dating. He is fully developed for his age, 5'11", 200lbs, and has facial hair, he just doesn't look like a 13yr old and I'm concerned he'll want to have sex. Girls his age call him and I found out that he's been "going out" with somebody at school, but hasn't taken her out anywhere. I really don't know what that means at this age. I figure he's probably kissed a girl. I know he's a good boy but I'm not sure me giving the go-ahead may send the wrong signal. Any answers?

First of all I cant imagine loving another baby like I love him.

And then, I remember the 17 1/2 hours of labor and terrible pain after.

Did anyone know after #1 there would not be a #2?

She has been on Enfamil, Gentlease, Prosobee, Similac Alimentum, and now Nutramigen. With all of the other kind she either was spitting it up or acting like she was in pain. She has been on Nutramigen now for a week. She did ok with it at first but now every time after I feed her, she immediatley has a bowel movement. Yesterday she started acting fussy and today was even worse. Someone told me to go but gripe water, so I did and now she is asleep. Has anyone had gas problems with Nutramigen?

i found out that my daughter had been deprived of oxygen when she started having seizures shortly after birth. she is doing very well now (at 6 months old) and i am wondering if it is reasonable to have hope that she will be able to live a completely normal life

i'm 30 wks pregnant, and found out that my husband is lying to me, and very possibly cheating. he's been acting strange & i found out he's been contacting his ex.

i'm crushed. so hurt. haven't even gotten to the anger yet. well, a little.

we took bradley classes together, where he trained to be my labor coach. now i don't have a labor coach, or a husband. or a father for my baby. i've even just found out today that if i put him on the birth certificate, they might take my baby because his parental rights to his first child were involuntarily terminated.

i'm scared about the birth, and affording to take time off.
i've got most of the money saved (i make most of the money for the household) but i was going to count on his income to help get us by for the 12 weeks off after the baby's born.

i don't know what to do... i'm going to ask him to leave tonight. but i'm SO scared! i don't have any friends or family nearby. i'm going to be all alone!!

what am i going to do?????

Is it possible that I could be pregnant? I am having an unusual tenderness in my left breast only (upper-above the nipple.) It has been sore to the touch for 4 days now. I have also been having alot of headaches and los of appetite (could be contributed to stress.) If you consider a 28 day cycle then I had sex twice around my date of ovulation and I should start my period on Friday. The kicker here is that my boyfriend had a vasectomy between 3 and 4 years ago (when he was married.) I would really love a child - he doesn't want one. Could I be pregnant? If not then what is the breast pain about (never experienced it before.) Is it too early to test?

I know this is a personal question, but I need help. Me and my husband need to draft a will within a month. My husband is in the military and is going on deployment very soon. It's exptremely important for us to draft a will. But, I am having a hard time deciding who to my son's Godparents will be. My sister isn't the best parent as it is. I would love for him to go to my parents, but My mom has had open-heart surgery as a result of several heart attacks and strokes, she has diabetes, Multiple Sclerosis, she's blind in one eye, and she can barely walk, let alone pick up a baby. My father has anger issues and really knows nothing about parenting, as he left all the tough stuff up to my mom. I don't care for my sister in law. She is quite selfish, and in the military as well and goes on constant deployments. She knows nothing about raising kids. My parents in law... ... I absolutely love them, but I get the feeling they are DONE raising kids. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!

I know that you should be able to see the hb at 6 weeks, but I have not seen mine at 7.5 weeks, they want to diagnose me with a miscarriage, but my sac and fetus grew since the prior week, so is there a chance that s/he is just too small yet to see a hb, or is this the end of the road. I have another scan next week to make double sure, but was hoping for some miracle stories.

I have a 3 yr old and she stays in another state than I do. I could not get help from my family to stay in that state because my bro was to stubborn. I am 11 weeks pregnant almost 12 but when I wipe after I urinate there is a small amount of red not brown blood. It seems to be mixed with (sorry to be graffic) clear mucas. I have a little lower back pain but nothing that is really even that noticable it could just be because I sleep strange. Could I be having a miscarrage or am I just make a mountain out of a mole hill?
