okay so my little sister just got lice and she didn't know and she used my brush a few days ago and then i used that same brush. and now i'm scared that i mite have it. but she just found out yesterday. i made my mom go get lice shampoo and a lice comb so i can use it before i notice any lice on my head! i used it last nite and i think it worked. and today i saw little white dots in my hair, but i also have dandruff so i dont know what it is! i think its just lice eggs because i haven't seen any actual bugs. so i'm just wondering if the white dots are the eggs that got killed when i was using the lics shampoo but just didn't come out!
and any advice would be good too.
thanks.
oh yeah
and about how long does it
take for lice to go away!

Sorry hon she's right the shampoo only kills bugs and some of the eggs, some of them can still hatch you need to shampoo your hair and then go through it strand by strand and pick each egg, bug out... It sucks but if not you will never get rid of them...also make sure you take all stuffed animals, and put them in a garbage bag for 10 days...Lice Will suffocate without blood supply to feed off of...Wash all linens and vacuum all rugs..

The easiest way to tell if you have lice is to check after you have washed it. The nits show up better when your hair is wet. The lay them mostly underneath like the nape of your neck or around your ears. They will be on the hair close to the scalp. You cannot move them. They are secured to the hair and you cannot pull them off. When your hair is treated with lice shampoo they are gone when you are done getting them out with the comb. Make sure to wash all bed linens, coats and anything that you have worn. All of the furniture needs to be vacuumed and stuffed animals that you have been in contact with need to be bagged for two weeks. Wash the pillows also. The bugs are very hard to see. They climb under the hair when it is moved. You have to be quick to see them.

Lice eggs are white and almost impossible to see with the naked eye....lice are actually brown, about the size of a grain of brown rice. You are supposed to get a second lice treament in 7 days...just in case some eggs survived...you have to stop the lice life cycle to kill all the lice.

If you have lice, it actually means that your hair is clean! Yeah, it's weird, but lice eggs can only stick to clean hair. As for your white dots, if they are lice eggs, they should come off pretty soon.

if it is lice eggs, then on the weekend when youre not going anywhere public or doing anything at all, put vasaline on the roots of your hair, that is where the eggs attach themsevles, wash your hair like you normally do, then before you go back to school or go to do something wash your hair with dish soap then use a bunch of really really good conditionar cuz the dish soap dries out your hair but gets rid of the vasaline, the vasaline will suffacate bugs if their are any and will not allow the eggs to attach

examination of your scalp hair could exhibit residing lice and nits. The latter are related firmly to the hair, yet could be moved alongside it in direction of the loose end. continual boil like an infection of the scalp often shows the presence of lice. Lice traumatize the floor in seek of nutrition. The trauma produce inflammation, which finally ends up in scratching , scratch marks, and can be secondary boils, impetigo and secondary eczema. the conventional drugs are Lorexane (P). the hair washed after seven days after the applying of the drug. . mattress clothing, head gown and combs could desire to be sterilized, to steer away from reinfection and and transmission of an infection to others. If there is any secondary difficulty it may desire to be taken care of .

if you have lice you need to use mayonnaise to suffocate them in your hair in the shower. let it sit in your hair for 10 min. then rinse out. you can go to your pharmacy and they have a special ccomb and liquid thing because you have the pick through your hair and kill all th lice you can find up there!
