most doctors wont see you until you are at least 8 wks pregnant because the risk of misscarraige is 1 in 5 those first few months. she should go ahead and call the doc to make an appt since it may take a while to work her in. then after her first appt she will see the doc once a month until she is 7 months, then every 2 weeks then once a week until the baby is born

The hospital prefers you call as soon as you find out. The sooner they can get you in, the better. My first appt was around 5 wks when I first found out, simply to talk to a midwife. Second one was 11 wks for an initial Dr appt. Good thing I called them as soon as I did too. B/c now I'm 34 weeks with twin girls, and have had more Dr appts than I care to count. Going in early allowed them to assess the high risk factor early on, and b/c of that, I've not had to be concerned about them really the entire time.

At first they usually do it by once a month. Unless maybe there are medical reasons involved. Then as you get further along its goes every 2 weeks then to every week. Of course all doctors work in different ways so maybe her doc is the kind that likes more check ups. Good Luck to you and your sis!!

as soon as you think you are pregnant you should see a doctor. Take a home test, then follow up with the doctor.

Call your doctor and they will make an appoitment for you. Usually around 8-10 weeks.

They usually do it around 10-12 weeks, sooner if they have room or if you're high risk. You have to call as soon as you find out because it can take weeks or even a couple months for them to fit you in.

you could look at your condom? in case you probably did not use one, i might advise you play the waiting sport and save your arms crossed kido. once you're in simple terms beginning as much as grow to be sexually energetic i might advise speaking to somebody and getting on some style of start administration to ease your concerns.
