If he is throwing up a lot (large amounts at every feeding), and you're sure its diarrhea and not just normal loose/watery breastmilk stools, get him to the Dr. It is very easy for babies to become dehydrated. One way of telling this is by the fontanel (soft spot) on top of his head. If it looks sunken in, your baby is dehydrated and should go to the ER right away.
If, however, he seems fine and not dehydrated, it could just be reflux. At times it seems that babies spit up more than they really do (try this yourself by dripping a few drops of formula on a piece of fabric). Also, are you sure it's the milk? For example, I noticed that my son, who has slight reflux, spit up more from the breast than from the bottle, and it's breastmilk in the bottle, so... it's the positioning while nursing that did it.
You can easily check this by feeding him breastmilk from a bottle.

That's totally normal. Formula is heavier and doesn't digest. It sits in his stomach. That's why he's spitting up more breastmilk than formula. It's doubtful that he's allergic to something in your milk. I would think you would have specified projectile vomiting if that were the case :-) Plus, the most common "allergy" is dairy- and formula is dairy.
Watery stools and a million bowel movements a day are a breastfed baby thing. Most have that (the watery stools- frequency changes) until they start solids.
You can monitor what you eat and see if it could be anything in your milk but I doubt it
Good luck

The stools of breastfed babies are very watery. They are a mustard-yellow color, sometimes having the consistency of oatmeal. I am currently nursing a 3 month old, and until she was 6 weeks old she had at least 10 stools a day. She also spits up more with breast milk vs. formula. But, if you are concerned, you should contact your doctor.

Breast fed babies have runny stools, its very cery loose. You know its the runs if theres mucus in it as well.
Is he throwing up or spitting up? Theres a huge difference. If he's vomiting (throwing up everything he just ate) and really has the runs you need to take him to the ER tonight, that is NOT normal and he can dehydrate very quickly.
If he's spitting up, its normal. Burp him more often, feed him before he's crying for it, and keep him upright for 15 minutes after each feeding, even if he's asleep.

You should keep a diary of what you eat because he might be upset by what your eating which gets to the breast milk. See what the doctor says. Its unlikely he's just spitting up your milk just because its your breastmilk though.

if he has only thrown up twice then he just may have had a little bit to much to eat. While you are breastfeeding he is going to have soft and running poo's. if he has a good appitite and is still thriving then i dont think there is nothing to worry about. If you are worried about it just like me i worry about everything with my son. just take him to the docs better to be safe then sorry. good luck i hope its just because he is a hungry boy.

Yes, you baby may be allergic to your milk. But if he's vomiting and has alot od diarrhea you need to keep him hydrated. Try "pedialyte". It has lots of electrolytes he needs to stay hydrated. And for now use formula. If it gets too bad, call the doc and if it's after hours and you have an emergency they'll page him.

It does sound like he might have an allergy to something in your milk. Possibly something that you are eating is getting into your milk, and therefore into him. I'd test him for allergies.
