Kangaroo care is not only great fo bonding with a baby, but it is aslo proven to help preemie babys breathing, my little girl was born at 27 weeks and when we had kangroo cuddles her sats would go high and her oxygen would be turned down! I guess its where they feel safest they can hear your heartbeat etc, Its a beautiful feeling having your baby that close especially when they are so poorly xx

Would I do it??

Sure if I knew the parent and the baby. I would probably feel a little strange cuddling a strangers baby bare chested....
