If you think you can understand teenagers or males your are in a very small minority.

Yes he still likes her.

Yes she should not only forgive but forget and ignore.

Tell her that if she wants to forgive him she has to think long and hard on why she should. If he was careless with her feelings then he will be again. Remind her that at 14 most people don't find the person they are going to spend the rest of the lives with, and while it may hurt now, she can get over it.

This is what 14 year olds are like, she'll be over it in a week, when she's got a crush on some other boy. Just let her cry on your shoulder and soothe her with milk and cookies until then.

I've been in that situation and realy there is only one thing to do. She should talk to this boy, not bringing up the subject and ask if he wants to meet up at the cinema or something... If he still likes her he wll jump at the opportunity or arrange another day to the one suggested. If he turns her down without so much as another day to do this then its best to move on. She can talk to her friends and find someone who suits her better.
I hope I've helped as this can be really hard on the girl!

These are things that hse needs to cope with alone to mould her into an adult just be there as a shoulder to cry on and a willing ear and let her work it out on her own.

Really, its up to your daughter, not you. Getting boyfriends, breaking up, getting back together again, feeling happy and feeling hurt are all part of the process of growing up and gaining experience for the future. Let her make the decisions, and be there to congratulate her or be a shoulder to cry on, whichever is required.

when your 14 your gonna have things like that happen to you, i think that she is a little stupid for falling for a boy that's gonna do that to her, but i understand your concern, tell her he is not worth it and let her be, if she still wants to be with him let her, but make it sure to her that she is making the wrong choice

dont get involved in 14yr olds fickle 'love' lives, we all had our heart broken hundreds of time at that age, the 'pain' only lasts til pocketmoney day and she's probably over it already...let her and her pals sort stuff out themselves..
