The best part of being a parent is watching a small person develop into a member of society and seeing them become part of the world and what they want to do in the world and watching them choose goals and strive to achieve those goals.

It's the pure joy when they come out to the living room in the morning and get excited to see you. Come out and say "Good Morning, Mommy, I love you!" with big hugs and kisses! =) My kids are almost 2 and almost 3! It warms my heart!!

When I am standing outside of the dining room just after they have begun a board game. The sound of laughter and giggles and conversation coming from the room is the best part.

Everything. But I think what melts my heart is when my little girl comes up to me with her puckerd up lips to give me a kiss. And when she hugs me she says "awww" too cute. I also love how excited she gets when she sees me! The way she wants to sit on my lap at night for me to rock her when we are watching t.v.! I love everything about being a mommy!

Every time they laugh, smile, or giggle and are just being silly.
Never mind the hugs, kisses, and "I love you" from them.
The first time they read a book on their own, or write their names...all their firsts really.
I could go on forever...Being a parent really is great!
