While there are numerous things you can do to reduce the risk of pregnancy, any time you have sex, there is a possibility of getting pregnant. Abstinence is the only 100% way to prevent pregnancy. There are many factors at play surrounding conception. Sperm can easily live inside a woman for 2-3 days and up to 7 days if conditions are optimal. After ovulation, an egg can stay alive for 12-24 hours. So, at the far end of the time line, it is feasible that you could have sexual intercourse one day yet conception does not actually take place until seven days later depending on when you ovulate. Once the sperm has fertilized the egg then it is still another few days before the fertilized egg implants into the uterus beginning the chain of hormonal events that can lead to morning sickness, sore breasts, and the many other possible symptoms of pregnancy. Some of these pregnancy symptoms are also experienced by some women prior to the menstrual cycle. Yes, if you and your husband have had sex, there is a possibility you could be pregnant. If you have missed a period, try taking a home pregnancy test.

As a mother of two I can say yes.

There is no point taking a pregnancy test so soon though. It is unlikely that it would be accurate until at least three weeks. The best thing to do is not worry (I know easier said than done). If you worry too much about it than you can trick your body into "acting" pregnant (ex. morning sickness or late period).

It is probably best to talk to your doctor. If you are using hormonal birth control it can give you a false negative on a pregnancy test.

Relax!!! If you are pregnant, it's okay. You're married! If you're not, know that next time you will need to try harder to prevent it, although no method of birth control is 100% full-proof. Well, except for abstinence. But if you're married, you shouldn't withhold yourselves from each other. I don't have personal experience but a friend of mine said she knew that she was pregnant the day after conception. If you are pregnant, consider yourself fortunate. There are plenty of women in this world that can't have children and desperately want to.

yes there is...doesnt take long for the sperm to swim and "take action" sometimes if you catch it in time there is "the morning after" pill that works, It actually kills the sperm, my advice would be to go to a walk in clinic or see your doctor, he might prescribe the morning after pill for you. It is designed for people who had unprotected sex or when a condom has broken by mistake. The dr. can prescribe it for you, they realy are affective! But you need to go see one asap!!!

Take a pregnancy test. No birth control method is 100% safe.
