She's chosen the names Aimee and Kateri to reflect her husband's French culture. She wants a middle name that's either French, or of Irish/Celtic origin. (She's Irish) An English middle name is fine though.

Some other names that I'd suggest to your friend are Avery, Elodie, & Emery... I don't know, I just think the names have a similar sound. And I always thought the name Kateri was Native American in origin. From just googling the name I've found that it is the 'Mohawk pronunciation of the name Katherine' (quote from 'Behind the Name')... You might want to tell your friend this in case she's been misinformed.
Common middle names like Rose and Grace would sound lovely with this names... However, if you're looking for some more offbeat suggestions.

Kateri was an Indian maiden saint. Her middle name was Tekawitha. I have a friend named Donna Kateri and I always liked that.
