Hi Mommy to be! Congrats on your pregnancy :) Im 20 weeks pregnant & found out at 18 weeks that Im having a BOY! But this is my first baby so I had no gut feeling if it was a boy or girl. However, I did have 2 dreams one in first trimester & one in my second...And it was a precious lil baby BOY! So, yes my dreams seemed to match the gender. He isnt born yet so Im not sure if the baby will look like he did in my dreams. But I woke up from the dream with this vivid image of his lil face & I will remember that face forever!!! Its a dream I will always cherish! So I too am curious if the baby boy in my dreams will look like my baby. Good luck sweetie!!! Hugs xxx

My mom had a dream while she was pregnant with me. She was sitting at a piano and she could play anything she wanted just by ear. Nobody in my family played musical instruments (but my mom was a pretty good singer. She sang on the radio when she was a kid in Detroit. Another little girl who sang on the same program grew up to be Mitzi Gaynor). But I was always very musical and I play several instruments self-taught. Also I had a GF once with a little 5-year-old boy. She said that before she got pregnant with him she had a 'vision' of him. She was married and trying to get pregnant. She was sitting in the living room watching TV with Hubby and she thought she saw a 2-year-old standing next to the coffee table, dressed in a little 'footy sleeper'. She saw him for only a few seconds, then she closed her eyes and looked again and he was gone. But, she said, she knew it was the baby she wanted to have. And her boy, she said, looked exactly like the vision when he was two. (And this little boy, if you saw him, he was the most beautiful five year old you ever saw. If there was a Kid Store where you could go and look at models and order the kid you wanted, this is the kid you'd pick!)

In my dreams, my baby was always a girl (and she is, but I really wanted a boy, so I told myself the dreams were wrong - wouldn't trade her now though). Of course, she also always looked like one of my cats, and I spent the dream trying to get the doctors and nurses to understand that this was NOT normal!
But I've heard it's really common for your dreams to predict the gender - mother's intuition I guess. You'll probably have an ultrasound soon, so you can see if you're right!

I constantly dreamt I was having a little girl, with curly black hair, a dark skin and blue, blue eyes. She was very small in the dream and absolutely beautiful. When my son was born, he looked just like the 'dream girl' except he has straight hair and he was tiny at birth (5 lbs 6 oz).

When I was pregnant I dreamt that I had had a baby girl, and yes did go on to have a baby girl, although all through the pregnancy I was sureI was having a boy, even the midwife and doctors while I was in labour thought it was a boy.

I had dreams constantly of a baby boy. Sometimes I would just have 'blue' dreams if that makes sense, everything was blue in them, curtains, bed covers, couches, everything. And guess what... I had a boy.... coincidence? Of course my husband 'knew' it was a boy from the start... but I FELT it... Good Luck & Best Wishes!

Nope, my baby was a boy in my dreams even though I knew I was having a girl and didn't look anything like her.
I remember one dream I had, in the dream I kept losing the matress to the bassinet and on the bottom of the bassinett were just these old wooden slats that were supports for the matress, well some of them were missing. For some reason I just had to get my baby into this bassinet, even with the missing slats. I picked him up and put him in it and his leg cracked through one of the slats and he just looks up at me square in the eye and says, "Look at what you did!, you stupide *****" I woke up startled and feeling horrible about it. When I told my mom, she laughed so hard she was crying which got me laughing.

I had tons of dreams about my little girl when I was preg! But I was sure I was having a boy! I always dreamed of a boy. I also dreamed about having a tiny little baby but she was average size (7lbs 11oz). That was my experience =)

Why just moms?
I had dreams about both my daughters before they were born. I was right on the gender with both of them, and I dreamed of them a lot.

I knew my son before he was born from about three months into my pregnancy. I knew what he would look like, i knew his personality. I dont know why, or how, I just did, he is now eleven and still exactly as I envisaged.
