I open one present on Christmas Eve because I usually go out to dinner on Christmas Eve and it related to it, such as a coat or a purse that my parents want be to bring but I open all the rest very early on Christmas morning.

Christmas Eve. We used to on Christmas morning. That is when I prefer to do it. One year the kids asked about doing it when we got home on Christmas Eve. Their dad told them that the morning was my rule. Everyone wanted the eve and we have done it that way ever since.

Christmas day!!! If u open them on Christmas Eve it will ruin the surprise. and u can finish up last minute shopping on Christmas eve!

When I was very young, we always did it on Christmas morning. Once my brother and I were old enough to no longer believe in Santa, we started doing it on Christmas Eve night.
Now, we go to my parents on Christmas Eve, we open gifts here on Christmas morning, and we go to my husband's parents that afternoon.

I still love that early morning excitement and being in pajamas and the morning light. It starts the day off nice, then we have all day to relax and enjoy the new gifts.
