ok so my baby is 6 weeks old and weights right at 8 pounds now "she was a preemie" we use the pampers new borns that are up to 10 pounds but then there are also some papers that say 8-10 pounds we use the swaddler ones so which ones should we be using the newborns that say up to 10 pounds or the newborns that say 8-10 pounds im kind of confused? Thanks in advance.

This question is so CUTE! Just use what fits her. I'm sure there isn't much of a difference in the two.

Use whichever fits your baby best. I know that sounds like a simple answer, but the diapers will fit differently. I had to experiment with different types and styles of diapers since my baby was small for his age, but was long and skinny. I couldn't go by the weight at the time. The pampers swaddlers were definitely the best for him.
Good luck and congrats!

With our baby, the weights on the diaper box were not accurate. According to her weight she should be in a smaller size but she had to wear a larger size. Also, I believe the swaddlers cost more than regular pampers. Congrats on the baby!

If the newborn size still fits and holds everything in, continue to use them. You can move up to stage 1 if you want, but as long as the newborns still work, then use them up before using stage 1.
The sizes are just a very basic guide. My son was in size 2's by 6 weeks, but he wasn't a preemie either. Go by what fits your daughter.

They are both the same. Except the size 1 is a little bigger to fit babies up to 14lbs. I would buy the size 1 because she will be in them a little bit longer then the newborns. But use what ever you want.

You can use which ever ones are most fitting. I prefer to buy the smaller sizes for as long as they fit because more diapers come in the pack for the same price. Right now, my son could wear a size 4 or size 5 based on weight, but I buy 4's because I get more diapers in a pack. When they get to snug, I will move up a size. It really does not matter which you buy as long as they are not too tight and don't leak.

Ok i got the answer
all babys are diffrent sizes ands they have diffrent figuars and wieght differently. example chunky legs and some don't have chunky legs. find the diapers that fit her best and allow the wides range of move ment. you don't want a diaper to restrick the movement of a baby like to tight or so loose they began to fall off when they wiggle around. those numbers are there just as a basic guide to what size they should be in. you wouldn't want to buy a 1 yr old new born diapers .

when my daughter was born, i bought the huggies gentle care NB because they have the part for the umbilical cord so it wont be bothered. after that, i went to size 1 in pampers 8-14. She was 8lb. 4 oz. born and is now 10lb. 3 oz.

When the ones you are using get tight and you can't pull the elastic around without digging into her leg...go up a size. Otherwise I would stick with whats working.

we don't use pampers, because they are scented. So I don't know how the match up to huggies supremes but my son went straight into a size 1 (he was 8lbs. 02.oz) just use what fits best!
