Do you agree with spanking children as a form of discipline or do you see it as child abuse? Have you found forms of punishment that actually work. Do you feel it should be a parental choice or against the law? Were you spanked as a child? Sorry for so many questions at once but I wanted some views on this issue. Thanks for all your answers.

I had a miscarriage a couple weeks ago at 8 weeks. I still show a very faint line on the pregnancy test and I've been taking ovulation perdictor tests too... is it possible to ovulate before hcg returns to 0?

I am pregnant with my second child. I am having a tough time deciding on a name. My husband voiced his opinion then said the final choice was mine.
Girls:
Danica Lily Anne
Danica Zoie Anne

Boys:
William Arthur George
Wyatt Arthur George
Henry Arthur George

My daughter's name is Aleksandra Grace Elizabeth. We both agree on Danica and Anne, but if we name her Danica Anne, her initials will spell DAM, where our first daughter's initials are AGEM (a gem). Anne is a family name.
The boy's name is a little harder. Arthur is after my husband's grandfather who recently passed and George is after my grandfather who is very ill. It is important to us to use both names, but I would like him to have his own name as well.
If you don't like any of them, say so, but don't be mean about it. Thanks!

a little girl. However she only has her everyother month when her dad works day. When he works nights he has her during those months. So when she has her, she comes in the clothes that my cousin put on her that morning. Looks like she doesnt get a bath. Is 4 years old, doesn't know how to play with toys, wants someone to feed her, take her to the RR, open a door, etc. She weighs as much as her 1-1/2 year old. she also stays in a 1 bedroom apartment with her father and 2 brothers that are 5 & 7. Should she call CPS? She has tried talking to the father and he kindof brushes off her questions. What should she do?

I took my daughter off my breast during the day and only feed her from my breast at night because I wanted to see how much she was really drinking. Now I have notices that since I have been pumping my milk supply has slown down. What's the difference between letting my daughter nurse and pumping the milk?

I'm not trying to get prego but lyke I was jes wondering why I havent gotten pregnant yet. When I first lost my virginity my ex would ALWAYS cumm in me and I never got pregnant. I was wondering if there is lyke something wrong with me or what. I've had a total of atleast 3 guys cumm in me...in my whole life and I havent gotten pregnant yet.

In july i miscarried my first baby. At almost 6 weeks I went into the ER for some pink spotting which i was told it was probably old blood because it had a brown tint to it. anyways, i was about 5 weeks or so and they saw the sac but no baby either it could have been to early because they usually don't do an U/S until the 6th weeks but what causes this to happen? the sac but no baby thing i mean? thank you.

i dont have a 13 year old but thinking about it when i was 13, my mum put me on the pill right away. She said that it didnt mean that i was given permission to have sex- but if i was to, i'd be protected.

Would you do the same so you wouldnt have youe 13 year old coming back pregnant at a early age or do you think its setting a bad example and showing her it means she can do anything she wants.

I just want to know other peoples different opinions

i have looked for similar questions...no luck,
so, i have an almost 8 month old daughter, who has yet to pop her first tooth. it seems as though she may be getting ready. cranky, not sleeping well etc... but, as i as reading some info. it says that she may get a fever, diarrhea, push food away.
all that it seems shes doing is pooping ALOT. 4 out of 5 diapers. at least. its soft, but not diarrhea. could this be a symptom as well? i have not changed her diet, and i dont want to jump to anything, she seems fine, getting a pink butt, im using butt balm.
anyway, a bit long, for a short qustion. but thanks for any info...

My sister is 29 weeks. We found out 3 days ago at her last ultra sound she has holes and calcium deposits in her placenta. Which means it is dying, which could kill the baby if it does die. Through my research i've found this usuall causes premature delivery. The baby is 3lbs and the doctor said it will live if born. My sister is also a iv drug user. she uses heroin. When the baby is born my mother and I will be taking gaurdianship of her until my sister is concidered a fit parent how every long that will be is unknown. My question is Have you had similar complications? what happened? How long after did you deliver? How many weeks were you when you delivered? The baby is already going to have to withdrawl after shes born. From what I understand she will be put on a morphine drip iv. Please no comments on my sister it has nothing to do with the questions I asked. I have very strong feelings on how wrong it is what shes been doing. I appreciate any information you can give me.

he's 3m now and ive tried several different types of diapers and bigger szes, tightening the diaper, but sometimes his poop just literally explodes out his diaper. i dont know if its that its bc is runny and when he farts, the air makes it bubble up the back, or what, but its really gross and messy! i have to change his onesie without smearing poop on his head! does this happen to anyone else?? anything i can do to prevent it?

Ok so my son is 4yrs old and he has ummmm a thing for our toilet. Every chance he gets he flushing something down it. We have tried numerous different toilet lid locks and each with the same result, he can figure them out within minutes of us putting them on.
He has flushed, jumbo legs blocks, a candy bubble gum dispenser, travel deodorant,400 q-tips,a ball, one of his Thomas toys, his Thomas wooden whistle and the list goes on and on.
Its not from lack of supervision, he'll be going pee or poo and then he sneaks a toy into the toilet and flushes it and then tells us about it.We watch him very intently when in the bathroom but we don't go in because we have always taught himt hat the bathroom is private. Should we start going in now? We have to take our toilet off to get whatever he flushes down about twice a month. We have tried everything as a means of punishment but nothing works and we won't spank what should we do now? I'm at a loss......

Does anyone have any tips on how to get my body back into shape?

My husband is a qualified fitness trainer, and he drew up an excercise plan for me about a week ago, which requires rigorous excercise.

But I've found myself simply too tired to do any excercise at all. I am a big coffee drinker, so I've made sure to substitute any sugars with coffee sweetner. I'm also trying to watch what I eat, but the lunches & dinners I make for my husband always look so delicious, I end up eating with him (and just as much as him) anyway.

Help please? I think 6 months is a long enough time to stay fat... :-)

Ok, I have a baby that is going to turn one on Dec. 7. I have a couple of things that I need advice on. First, he has a bit of a biting problem. He does this towards me most of the time and only occasionaly towards others like his dad and siblings. I don't know if he is trying to kiss me and maybe is teething and goes for a bite, but why only me? He comes towards me with his little mouth wide open and then takes a bite and pulls away. It's getting painful and I don't know what I can do about it being he is only one year old. I think he is way too young for disipline like time out and I'm not sure how to go about it since I never had this problem with the first 2. Then another thing is he is starting to throw tantrums, I thought it was too young but he's doing it. He throws himself on the floor and cries if I walk a step away from him. I've been with him 24/7 since he was born so could this be separation anxiety? I don't know but I need some opinions.
