can a girl get pregnant two weeks before her period? and if so will you be able to tell if she is, in the two weeks?

I know there are going to be a LOT of strong moral/spiritual/personal opinions on this one...but I was kinda hoping there was someone on here who had participated and could give me some "real life experience" on the subject.

Here's the deal. I've always thought it would be a good idea. I'm 23 and I don't want kids. I am in good shape, have had a good education so far, etc. etc...basically, I meet all the pre-screening criteria. Also, I am at a point in my life where I could use a little financial help (what college student doesn't?). I know egg donation pays between $3000 - $5000 per donation cycle and I can donate as much as I want (like every 6 weeks) as long as everything goes ok. I also know that the routine you have to go through (the "harvesting" process, the fertility drugs, etc.) is pretty brutal. But I think I could handle doing it like twice a year or something if it meant I could finish school and live more comfortably. Can ANYONE offer some good advice on this?

ok, so im 17, girlfriend is 15 almost 16, and I got her pregnant. neither one of us is freaking out, and we ARE gonna have the child, heck, we even have a name picked out! my question is; how can i support my soon to be family? im certified as a welder, but im not sure that will matter much without a college diploma. i am going to graduate highschool about a month before she is due. so, if you have any REAL advise, i'd really appreciate it!!!

my son is in 2nd grade ,tutors on wed ,thur w/ his teacher .the tutoring goes on from 230-300.well wed,i get there talk 2 couple people like i always do .my daughter and i start 2 walk 2 my son class 2 c how he is......well my daughter yells MOM MY BROTHERS NOT THERE.so i get 2 the class room and c his teacher w/another person and 2 of her other tutoring students.i said excuse me (she does'nt answer)she looking stright at me but nada...ok.well one of her students tell me well he left ...he left (i said) boy say's yes .teacher decides 2 jump in this converstion and say yes he left ....y i ask her ..y did u let him go( i said?)SHE YELLS AT ME SAY WELL MRS.***** what do u want me 2 tell you !!did'nt he know to stay 4 his tutoring....she say's well mike ask if he was going 2 stay ..MIKE !what do u mean mike he;s seven yrs old and your the teacher not this l'il boy she's yelling dont blame me dont blame me!!in front of her student i said 2 her i will not do this in front of these student .

My husband and I just brought home our baby who was born 11 weeks premature. He spent 7 weeks in the NICU exactly and is doing great. Born at 2 lbs 15 oz's and is now 6lbs 2 oz's. We tried to put him in his crib the night we got home and he hated it. He got very used to the small tight area in his NICU crib. We then went out and purchased a Moses basket. He likes to feel tight and secure b/c that is all he knows. We put a cushion thing that you would put in a car seat that has a round thing for the head to stay stable and in place. He tends to turn his head at night and I am worried about SIDS and him stuffing his face in it. That secure feeling around his whole body is the only thing that seems to make him sleep. I am wondering if this is ok to use for a while until he gets a little bigger. He is on a heart monitor 24/7 for abnormal breathing and apnea. I want him to sleep well to grow, but I also want to be safe. Thanks!!

I was at the gas station the other day, waiting for my mother to get finished paying. While waiting I saw two women drive up. One was sitting in the front seat smoking. I then noticed a tiny little baby, couldnt be older then a few months old. I was just completly disgusted and wanted to go smack the women. Obviously I didnt but it just broke my heart. An innocent little baby sitting there breating second hand smoke, a type which has been sugested to be worse then smoking itself.

So I raise the question. As a few cities across the U.S have tried to make it illegal. Do you think it should be illegal to smoke with a child in the backseat? As well as what do you think of it.

To me it's the same as abuse.

I'm 13 weeks pregnant. I just had a cerclage done on Tuesday. and I'm afraid I might be getting an infection. Tonight, I've been having chills, and my temp keeps going up a little. The first time I checked it, it was 99.8 then about 20 min. later 99.9. Then 20 min. after that it was 100.0. I just took some tylenol to try and help bring it down. I've been sick for about two weeks, but it has been getting better. I'm taking antibiotics already. Is the high temp from me being sick or could I possibly have an infection? Even though I've been sick, I haven't had a temp or chills before tonight.

Because it is soooooo cold outside its hard to get the daycare kids outside. I am looking for an educational video thats about 30 minutes that keeps them up and moving around while following directions such as dancing or excersize that is kid friendly. we have been trying for 8 months now... I had my hubby checked (he seems to be fine) havent checked myself out because i never thought i could have a problem, my periods are regular, and all seems to be ok, but it is taking so long to conceive that it makes me angry and sad... My little sister is adopted( doesnt know it) and has been living temporarly with my boyfriend and I being our dad is in iraq and mom is out of the country helping our sick grandma. Anyways at kindergarden the teacher tells us she is struggling and can barely count to 40 but when she comes home she can count to 200 and she is starting to sound out words and read. why does she act like she is not smart at school.
