You need to know exactly what the agreed conditions are for the tutoring period. The best way is to ask the principal without making any accusation about the teacher. i would not be happy about what she did but unless you know what the official rules for the teacher and the kids are you should step easy and not cause trouble needlessly. you did right not to continue to argue in front of others but this needs an official resolution so you can tell your son what the rules are.

You need to go to her boss NOW and report her! She has endangered your child. What she did was terrible. She should not have acted like that in front of other students. Also, insist they give your son a different teacher for a tutor. Do not let them sweep this under the rug or give excuses. Keep calling every day if you have to until you get an answer that is suitable.

I would contact the principal for 2 reasons. 1) there may be another and possibly more qualified tutor for you child or at least one who will not let your young son run off alone. 2) she needs to know that this teacher is being that way. She shouldn't be yelling in front of students its intimidating and doesn't help them learn appropriate public behavior.

Regardless of the circumstances surrounding this issue, the teacher had no right to disrespect you or talk to you in any way that was meant to belittle you. She should definitely be reported to the principal for allowing your second grade son to leave when she was aware that he was to stay after school. If the principal refuses to take action, I would go to his/her higher-up, perhaps the school district office. Child safety is so important and it should be taken seriously. I would also definitely tell the principal that I did not appreciate the way the teacher spoke to me and he/she should make sure that it never happens again.

Well, you should tell the head of the school about the tutoring. You should not let him go to the tutoring again if they are going to let him leave. She acted extermely rude. Its your child and you trusted your child with her. You should tutor your child at your home or find a tutor to come to your home if you have the money to do so. That was horrible to do especcially to a parent.

first thing you should do is realise numbers do not compensate for words. to is a word and is too. but 2 is a number. I can deal with spelling mistakes as long as they are not too bad but do you realise how hard it is to read your question?
in answer. It is easy...GO SEE THE PRINCIPAL. That is why they are there. The teacher is in the wrong and her yelling at you tells me she knows it.
