Can you still have your period if your pregnant? Maybe a light flow? My friend believes she is 5 weeks and just had a 6 day period, but lighter than normal, is this possible?>

About 5 days ago I went to the bathroom and I wiped myself and there was a tiny spot on blood on the toilet paper. My breasts are also very sore. Last friday I thought I had the flu, but no one else has caught it!?
My partner and I have been trying to conceive, and I am 13 days late. But before I always would think I would be pregnant, and end up with a negative pregnancy test.
Did you have similar symptoms?

i have had one baby already and was dilated 2 and effaced 80% for 3 weeks and finally they decided to enduce me cause they thought the baby was getting too big too fast when i had her she was 8lbs 10ozs but this time im 37 1/2 weeks and i just went to the doctors and was 75% effaced and dilated 2 but i dont really understand what the effacement means and what it has to do with anything. Also not being sick or anything but i heard that if you have sex that the sperm with help you to thin out but what does thinning out do?? And what comes first effacing or dilating and what helps you most to go into labor? Thanks for all the answer please only serious ones!

First of all you must understand me, I'm 24, I've had two children by a piece of crap for a father, 3 abortions a miscarriage and a 5 month old by another piece of crap. always thought marriage was bogus. but I would marry this guy!!! I respect people and their opinion. I don't complian much about anything.

now understand my boyfriend.
he's 31. we live together half the time the other half he leaves for five weeks 4 work. hes got a great job, nice car ,no kids
plays xbox 360 all day and owns two 500 gigs of music. doesn't want children together because I've already got three. doesn't want to get married ever.

understandable!!
but said he would share his last name and we could have a have a promise ceremony. that's cool too. he also wants me to move to Arizona if he gets a job offer in Cali. But he says he only sees me in his future and no kids. what???

I really love him and supposebly he says he does too.
what should I do?

i don't currently have a baby, but plan to. And I wanted to know what the pro's and con's are for best milk and formula. Is one really better than the other? Is it hard on the mom to breast feed? Can you pump from day one? Is there a formula that's better than the others?Does it depend on the baby?

Advice? Experience? Knowledge?

I have memories of my mother putting petroleum jelly on my two sisters and my vaginal area because we claimed we were hurting down there. Is this common? Do any parent out there know why this was done? I thinks its weird all three of us were hurting we were probably around 3-8 years old.

I ask because later in my teens i found child porn on my dads computer and than that memory came to mind recently and is making me think the worse. Help!

Does planned parenthood give out birth control? If so, how much is it? What are the requirements to get it, do you need parental consent? Do they have to check your medical history and what not? Thanks a bunch :)

Please help! My 6 mo old just figured out (this past weekend) how to bite me while breasfeeding. She has done it several times now. The first time, I screamed just because it shocked me so much (and hurt!). She cried, so I thought that would be the end of that. But she keeps on doing it! La Leche League suggested pulling her in close so that her nose gets covered, but she is too strong and won't let me do that. I have also told her sternly not to do it, and signed the word "hurt" (she is not hard of hearing, I just want her to have another way of communicating so I am teaching her ASL)

I do not know the reason for her doing this - if it is a game, if she does it without realizing, if she is trying to "prime the pump," so to speak.

Please let me know what you think the reason may be, and if there are any suggested solutions.

Serious answers only, please. :)

Is there like an age limit below his age that he can date legally?

My daughter is eleven months old and I was just about to run out of formula so I was just going to switch her to cow's milk now. She has always taken well to any formula. Never had spit up or colic problems so I wasn't worried. Plus, she always steals the older kids bottles at day care that drink whole milk. She was just diagnosed borderline anemic about a month ago. So I am worried she won't be getting enough iron from the regular milk. Do you think there is a significant difference in the amount of iron.

We have a little girl that out grew her car seat. She is 9 months and 20 pounds. We found a car seat that has superb safety ratings but it is a forward facing seat. We have heard that infants should be facing the rear until 12 months old. Is facing our baby forward going to put her into danger?? The car seat is for someone her weight......

I blocked one because she was emailing me a lot and accusing me of lying. That's all. I've also just been blocked by another user because she apparently didn't like my opinions. It makes me laugh, quite honestly - why ask if you don't want to hear other opinions? So, tell all.
