Make picture frames. Buy the one that aren't painted and you and your bf paint together. Put Noah's ark theme stickers on it etc. You can also create photo albums using scrap booking. good luck and enjoy!

I'm going to make a scrapbook for our little guy. I'm saving all the ultrasound pictures and pictures taken during my pregnancy. You can also make some cute picture frames by using scrapbooking supplies. We were going to do Noah's Ark for a theme too, then we found out we were having a boy and his name is Noah. We thought that would be a little too much. :) And my husband is in the Marines. Congratulations to you two.

I made for one of my friends a shadow box with an ultrasound picture, shower invitation, favor from the shower, some decorative wood pieces and some booties. She hung it in the nursery. The blanket is probably the easiest thing and the most useful thing. You can start a family scrapbook, sort of like a fmaily tree...start it from the child's great grandparents. I would look at Michael's Crafts and see what ideas they might have. Good Luck and Congrats!!

congratulations on your coming baby! i just had a little girl 9 weeks ago. if i could go back in time the one thing i would have made for her (and didn't) was a cast of my belly. this way she could see what her and mommy looked like before she was born. and if you did do that, maybe you could find someone who could paint a noah's ark theme on it. it could be very beautiful

I'm the same way, not very artistic, so I went to one of those paint your own pottery studios and picked out a pre-shaped picture frame and painted it for Father's Day for my hubby. Sorry I can't show you, it's at his office. But it was really easy and a blast to do if you have a group of people with you.

Make a scrap book that starts at his birth. Special events of the day, yr. and dont forget what ever facts about mom and dad that he/she might like to know when they grow up. Get a BIG book.. as this is a growing gift.

I would get a piggy bank from michael's an paint it specially for him or her. That would fit with your theme, as it's an animal (maybe even get two) and it's not a very hard craft, but it is something special.

Do you sew? Magic Cabin has really nice doll kits. Or you could make a scrapbook of some sort.

A scrapbook of his or her first year. From belly (yours) photos, hospital photos, birth photos, family, friends and so forth. Decorate it. Then write a letter about how much you love and cherish him or her.

A memory (diary) book.

A CD of favorite pics.
