I'm 13 weeks pregnant. I just had a cerclage done on Tuesday. and I'm afraid I might be getting an infection. Tonight, I've been having chills, and my temp keeps going up a little. The first time I checked it, it was 99.8 then about 20 min. later 99.9. Then 20 min. after that it was 100.0. I just took some tylenol to try and help bring it down. I've been sick for about two weeks, but it has been getting better. I'm taking antibiotics already. Is the high temp from me being sick or could I possibly have an infection? Even though I've been sick, I haven't had a temp or chills before tonight.

Also, I'm high risk because my water broke at 16 weeks during my last pregnancy. The doctor and the hospital that I'm using are almost 2 hours away.

Anytime you are pregnant and sick you should check with your doctor. Most likely it is nothing but if it continues or any new symptoms develop it could mean infection.

darling that dont sound good at all ok, ring the midwife at the hospital who works in the merternity and ask her for advice. you might need to stay in hospital a couple of days and trust me i hate hospitals and i was just in there for the same thing and i fainted and my baby didnt have a heart beat and if it wasnt for me going in there then i dont know what would have happend to me or my baby. you need to call them asap.

go see your doctor please. you shouldn't trust yahoo answers with something as serious as your problem. you might compromise the health of the baby by taking antibiotics.
