I'm a filmmaker, so there's a special appeal for me. If I have a son one day, however, I'd probably be safe and make Orson his middle name. WDYGT?

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and hoping to have my baby the right round when I give birth.

When did you baby decide to turn??

I felt hiccups at the left bottom of my belly a few days ago but now i felt them at the top right.

You'd think he'd have no room to move around to much!!

Thanks....

my baby is 10 weeks old and for the past 10 weeks i have either nursed him to sleep or cuddled him to sleep, but now his sleeping pattern is changing, he is sleeping better at night but during the day he stays up for an hour then goes back to sleep for an hour and it is really making my day completly upside down. I have been told to just put him down and let him cry himself to sleep, but nobody seems to say how long i should let him cry for, and how long this will last for, I am open to any suggestions that could be helpful

Ever since my niece was born, my sister-in-law has been severely overprotective, which is common of all first-timers I know, but she has admitted to me that she is very unhappy, stressed and depressed about everything lately. This concerns me because I have seen some things that I don't really think are good for my niece. My SIL w
ants to keep her baby on her own schedule (awake) most of the day and that should, in her eyes, make her understand night from day, and I know that it's still a bit too early. She skips her night feedings and is obsessed with a strict 3-4 hour "no less"" feeding schedule of 4 ounces of formula. If it's 9:30 and the baby starts to show late signs of hunger, she'll let her cry till 10. She says her baby must work up her appetite. She slept one day from 8:30 PM to 5:45 AM without waking up, and no food. She's almost 2 months, but this keeping her up and expecting her to eat around my SIL's schedule so my SIL can sleep is outright dangerous this soon. Advice?

When my parents split up I was 8 and my brother was 6. At first my brother was fine, but then he started misbehaving on the days that we were going to go see our other parent (switch houses). When my mom moved to Florida with my brother and I and my dad stayed where we lived he acted a lot better. He had been wetting the bed in our old house, and then he had stopped when we moved. We have moved back, we didn't like Florida, and he has become a DISASTER. He freaks out whenever someone in the family eats, or does the dishes, etc. He is rude, he backtalks my parents, and he swears at EVERYONE and he is wetting the bed again. He requires SO much of my parents attention that they have less time for me; they have to pay attention to him first. If I am having a conversation with my mom and my brother walks in, our conversation has to stop immediately so he can have attention so that he doesn't have a meltdown! Whenever he doesn't get what he wants he has a temper tantrum! What can we do?

I like names like

Rosemary Louise Paul
Claudia Juliette Paul
Giovanna Lenore Paul

Elliot Henry Paul
Leonardo James Paul

I also like names like Jane, Joseph, Oliver, Magdelena, Harriet, Josephine, Melvin, Richard, Fredrick, Franklin, etc.

Why does everyone hate these classic names I cant for the life of me figure it out. I am not saying trendy and new-ish names are bad but, these names are just so classy i dont see how you could hate them

I get my son every other weekend and every tuesday and thursday after school and thursday he sleeps over and i bring him to school the next day. His mom has him when i don't. We have beening doing for 5 yrs and it works out great but now that his in school i wonder if this is the best for him. What i mean would it be better to have his mom keep him during the week so he can have the same routine for school nights and i could get him every weekend? At my house he has to sleep on the couch in the living room at his moms he has his oun room. On tuesday when he goes home at 8 it only gives us 2 hours by the time his homework is done and we eat its time to bring him home to his moms. I would miss not seeing him all week and he would miss me too I just feel hes being shuffled around from one place to anouther. My ex is fine with ether way.

I had a miscarriage in June and am really stressing that in this pregnancy something will go wrong. I know I just need to calm down. I am now 13.5 weeks pregnant and had a few ultrasounds at the beginning because my doctor wanted to make sure things were okay. At that point everything looked fine. The last ultrasound was at 8.5 weeks. At my last appointment the doctor just used a doppler to get the baby's heartbeat. at 12.5 weeks the heart rate was 163, so the doctor seemed happy with that. She said that I wouldn't have another ultrasound until my 20 week appointment. I'm just wondering how good of an indicator the heart rate is? I rented a digital doppler to use at home and have been checking the heart rate. The heartrate has remained between 150- 162 each time. Just from the heart rate should I feel pretty comfortable that things are progressing as normal?

My 15 year old daughter wants to go to Cedar Point with her 18 year old boyfriend (in college) and his parents that are crazy. We live in Michigan, so they'd be going out of state to Ohio.

Her boyfriend and his parents called my daughter a ***** numerous times and they've been going out for 1 1/2 years.

I'm right to not let her go right?
