Not that I would want to, but I know several people who got pregnant very close together. I was just wondering if you got pregnant again and say you had a 2-4 (if waiting the six weeks) month old at pregnancy, would your body stop producing milk and turn to colostrum? I'm just wondering whether your second would get the same benefits as the first child with the colostrum or if it would stay milk. And if not, would you have to take your first child off the breast. I'm just wondering because I know the benefits of breast milk. It was just something that I was wondering because I wasn't sure whether it would hurt either baby. By the time (if you waited four months) you had baby to term, the baby would be about a year so you could wean them, or would you wean them right a way. I was just curious to see. I'm going to wait at least a year because I want my daughter to be weaned before being pregnant. Anyone who can answer would be appreciated. Serious answers please.

I'm a sophomore in college and don't think I'll have that much to spend on Xmas gifts this year.

However, I do have to get something really cool for my godson, who will be 2 years old.

I need ideas of places where I can get quality gift for less.

Thank you for your help!

I have a friend who is currently going through this and she is so depressed. I don't get involved with their business, but I could not imagine my husband telling me he is too busy to watch OUR child. He does this to her all the time and as a matter of fact we were supposed to hang out this weekend and couldn't because one again, he had something to do.

I would never suggest this to her, but would it be wrong if she decided to act like she was going to the store or if she put the child to sleep, got dressed and left the house and that way he wouldn't have a choice to keep his own child?

Has anyone ever been in this situation?

I used rubbing alcohol to dry it out a bit. Would that harm the baby?

I would like to introduce a saturday/sunday night, family night with my 2 kids, as i think it would be really nice to spend some quality time all together.
The problem is, their ages, my eldest is 7, and youngest is 3.
The 3 year old cant play the older ones games, and the older one, thinks that the youngest ones games are too babyish.

What games can we all play together, to enjoy our time together, and also would encourage my 7 year old to take turns?

Thankyou in advance.

( Natural, not with a c-section ) i was almost 4mths then. i was wondering, if everything goes ok while im going into labor, could i get a Anesthesia, and they get the baby out of my natural like they got the baby out of me when i had a miscarriage? .. cause i DO NOT want a c-section. and im tryin to find a method that i want have to deal with too much pain. hopefully this makes sense. if not i'll try to explain a little better! thanks.

I am a SAHM(kids 9,3 yrs), and there are times during the day when I let the phone ring. Like, about 30-40 mins when I've just got my 3 yr old home from preschool, or just picked up my 9 yr old from school. Or, when we are doing some activity together. Then, non-kid related activities like if I am researching something on the web, planning a vacation online.

So, in short there are some slots in the day when I don't take phone calls. Sometimes, I can say 'will call u back', and sometimes I just don't pick it up. Friends think I am taking this SAHM-but-I-too-am-busy-at-times thing too far.

So, if you are a SAHM, do you have times when you check caller-id and decide not to pick up. Or sometimes don't even check caller-id?
My friends know they can call my cell-ph for an emergency, or leave a message. These are old friends, and we laugh about it, but I'd like to hear from other SAHMs?

My son is a picky eater. He isnt big on lunch meats so it's hard to make a good healthy lunch for him. The school lunch menu consist of a variety of meals to choose from, but nothing my child will eat. So I have to send him with his lunch almost everyday. Now I have a hard time finding what kind of sandwiches to put in his lunch...his lunch usually consist of a peanut butter sandwich, orange slices, apple juice, apple sauce or goldfish crackers, pringles ( i know a no no), banana, apple slices. I try to put in a fruit/juice/sandwich and a cracker like item. What do you put in your child(s) lunch bags? I need more variety to add...any other sandwich or a main item to put in his lunch bag?

My son is 6 and for the life of me I think he is left handed. But he has been doing all of his school work with his right hand. I think that we are just forcing him to use it because we don't know any better.

I'm around 7-10 weeks preg. and the problem is that even if I want to keep my baby, I just cant and NO, I don't consider adoption, in that case I would keep the baby myself). Well I'm 21 and the father is 31, but he's not ready because he lost his job, his mom passed away not long ago, and his depressed, etc. and he told me straight out that I would be the main one to care for the baby if I decide to keep it, and he will just be my friend because he cannot be with me. Also, I'm working and going to school, and my parents would be very upset if I let them know about what's going on. I'm just confused because I know I will feel bad if I have an abortion but I just don't know if I will be able to handle the responsibility of raising a child
9plus I already have two large dogs and it's hard to keep them well maintained because of the expenses.) Today I will have another talk with the "father" but I don't know what I should tell him, he knows I am confused,..it's just very hard...

Our son is now 1 yr old and is starting to get upset when we are holding him and put him down or walk away from him. Up until now, he never used to be like this and would always just crawl/walk away and not even notice. Is this part of what is called separation anxiety?? Strange this is, whenever someone else (like his grandma who is visiting) puts him down, walks away, ect he doesn't get upset at all and goes about his playing or fiddling around. What might be the cause of his new behavior that is specific towards his mother and father? Also, we were both shy when we were young and would like him to be more outgoing. We recently took him out of a home daycare where only 3-4 children were and placed him in a child daycare center w/ 7 children in his class and 2 teachers. They have a curriculum and teach them all kinds of useful skills from eating around a table in little chairs w/ their feet touching the ground. Will this help? He starts the new daycare tomorrow. Thx!!

My son has a 50 min. ride to and from school. This is the only negative to him going (besides my attachment issues).

Does anyone have any ideas for activities a 4 year can do on a bus. He can't eat on the bus. I sent in a laminated car bingo card and a cranyon and an I spy picture book. That will get old soon. And he's learning how to draw on steamy windows, too...

But any ideas?

I currently have a full time job at night but I am looking to find something part-time that I can do from home and make a little extra cash. Eventually I would like to quit my evening job and just work from home. Does anyone have any suggestions of any companies that are reputable? Only experienced work at home moms please.
