My son has a 50 min. ride to and from school. This is the only negative to him going (besides my attachment issues).

Does anyone have any ideas for activities a 4 year can do on a bus. He can't eat on the bus. I sent in a laminated car bingo card and a cranyon and an I spy picture book. That will get old soon. And he's learning how to draw on steamy windows, too...

But any ideas?

I don't want him getting too plugged into something that would keep him from talking to other kids on the bus. So electronics are out. I like the magnetic beard guy idea.

I also need something he can put away quickly.

You probably don't want to send a toy to school, but I say get him an age appropriate activity book. With stickers and things (just make sure he doesn't stick anything to the bus)

Well my son is 2 and when we went away I saw a book that was go diego go but they have others that have the magnetc drawning board on it. So I got him that and he still loves it. It also has a handle so he can carry it. Go to toys r us and look in the book section they have alot with things attached to it.

Dry erase board with a marker(dry erase marker, obviously lol)

EXPO makes markers with the eraser on the end, so he won't ink up his hand or sleeve.
