Baby photo contest
I hope you will pick my baby boy, Gavin S.
He is in the age group of 12 months and is under top eyes, You click at the top "Vote For Top Eyes". It's mostly for fun, but I'd really like Gavin to win. I've never had much luck growing up with winning anything, or just any plain luck at all. I hope to get him started early in life with some luck. The winner gets a hat or toothfairy pillow. I wish there were free contests out there for college scholarships for them! Thank you for voting! And a Very Very Big Thank you and lots of luck to you if you vote for Gavin! : )

Hi all, and congratulations on the birth of your bundle of joy! I'm 20 weeks pregnant and curious to hear your birth story. How did you know you were in labour, what was the first thing that happend when you arrived at the hospital or the midwife at your house, how long were you in labour for, what pain relief did you choose, how was your baby born and how did you and your partner feel when you first met your babe? How were the first few days home with your baby, was it what you expected?

I know it's a long question that requires long answers, but it would be great to hear your story!

Thanx!!

ive always wondered how does the human body know that at 9 months (give or take a few weeks) that a baby is fully formed enough to be born?

My friend's daughter is about 14 and is really a spoilt brat. She always wants everything her way and has my friend going CRAZY.

My friend spanks her bare bottom often and it seems like only this way she's in control. He spanks her more to shame her - rather than to hurt her and this really works well.

Everytime she is spanked bare bottom, she is embarassed so much of her nude bottom in front of him, she is good for the next week or so. At times only a threat of a 'panty down' spanking or reminder of the last one - keeps her in line.

He is doing this for a good purpose, but will this harm her psycologically? Will she feel abused or something?

I know for a fact that he does not get ANY sexual feeling into the spanking. But will his daughter feel sexually abused? He does not hurt her in spanking but uses the embarassment of 'panty down' to control her.

Yes i know its a weird question, but recently ive been craving soil, and ive been sucking on stones ive picked from the garden and making unconspicuous holes in walls in my house to eat wall plaster. How can I control myself eating soil? I know eating soil is quite dangerous as there could be cat faeces in the soil and cause toxoplasmosis - can anyone help? My cravings have been VERY strong.

I have been advised by a mothercare assistant to wear maternity bras from now on (I'm only 5 weeks preg) and that it is bad to wear underwired bras as it stops the production of the milk glands...the problem is..i have hard nipples all the time (even before pregnancy) and so wearing a non-underwired, non-padded bra is quite embarassing as you can see my nipples through all of my tops...any advice?

My partner and I have been ttc for about 10 months now with no luck.Have tried all the usual, lieing on your back, using sanatogen pro natal, etc....
Anybody have any tips that worked for them?
Do you know of any other pills that I could be taking instead of Sanatogen, I know it's good to take folic acid supplements and they were the only ones I've heard of, anybody know of any others?
Thanks people!

I have a friend who I care for very much, she has a 2 year old son and I have a 4 year old son. I care very much for my friend and I just love her boy. Unfourtunately she wants me to constantly praise him, if he gets a new outfit she will ask 20 times how cute he look (even if it is a new t-shirt), if he gets his pictures taken she will show them to me a thousand time and ask me if they arent just the cutest. The truth of the matter is they aren't and I don't go gaga over a new t-shirt. I guess I am having a issue with the fact that she goes on and on about how cute blond haired blue eyed kids are and wants me to agree, but my son is brown headed and has brown eyes and I think big brown eyed babies are adorable, sometimes I feel like she wants me to betray my own son. Basically I am wondering (other than avoiding her) how I can avoid being expected to partake in the 24/7 praisefest of her son.
