ROFL you are kidding, right? Do you KNOW what Armageddon means? A name is part of a child's identity. You name a kid Armageddon and he's going to have psychological issues.
Pomegranate is a little better, but its still a little too long and 'out there'. If you want to name her after a fruit, even "Apple" is better. I admire that you're looking for less common names- I'm all for that. But you need to be careful because a kid's name is the first thing they have, and it will be with them forever. I can't imagine little Armageddon and Pomegranate growing up and applying for desk jobs. They'll need name changes.
Don't screw them up before they have a chance to live.

The end of the world or an ugly fruit? I don't like either personally. I'm a white woman stuck with a black guy's name. I had a rough childhood but at least most the kids I grew up with didn't know anybody else with my name. It was just an odd name to them.
Everyone knows what Armageddon is. It equals disaster, the end of all things as we know it. Why name your son after something so negative?
And Pomegranate? It's like what's her name that named her kid Apple. Pomegranets are yummy and healthy and full of antioxidants but they really are an ugly fruit. And naming a girl after a fruit? You're just asking her to be a stripper? Cherry, Berry, Sugar, Candy, Chocolate. Food=Eat Me= Stripper. Not a good idea.
You only get one shot at this... and remember... Children can be cruel.

I actually like the name Armageddon. But the whole meaning about end of the world puts me off a bit, I really like it, but I would never use it for a child, purely because it's different. However I am not keen at all on Pomegranate.

Armageddon is the end of the world. I don't think that's a great name for a child. And Pomegranate is too long, and too fruity. Good luck!

I think that's a set -up ! It kind of has a nice sound to it, but not for a human name ! You must not know how Cruel kids can be. Your poor baby will grow up having to defend his self because people will pick on him. And Pomegranate the same. I don't think either name is appropriate for humans, and besides...think of how you would feel if either of those were your' name !

No. Armageddon is not a nice name. Too long, too doom-y. Pomegranate is too long, although it sure sounds nicer.
But honestly now, why would you name your children after the end of the world and a fruit?

I think those are GREAT,but I would prefer Clitoria for the girls name and Hurricane for the boys name. Armageddon is a bit "bloody" sounding. Pomegranate is a little "fruity" sounding. I once knew a guy names Trees.

Armageddon is the final fight between Christ and satan as defined in the bible. I'd be afraid some people may wonder which side he is on. Just my opinion, but I'd try to think of another name which would promote a better thought in the minds of the masses he would be associated with in his entire lifetime.
