Ilike Remington. I like names that are different, I like Casen, Noah, Asher! Names that nobody really hears! But, I think Remington is a very strong name! Go for it!!!!

I'm not a fan of either because Amarie sounds 'strained' when you say it outloud and Remington is a brand of electrical goods like hairdryers in Australia.
Instead of Amarie I love Amara (uh-mar-rah) which means unfading and eternal. For boys I like Jake, Mitchell, Isaac, Oscar, Max and Riley
Best of luck

Amarie for a girl.
Remington for a boy. I hate the nickname Remy though.

I like amarie better. Remington reminds me of a shotgun. Good luck with the names and the little one.

Amarie is ok although I'd suggest a different spelling because that way looks like a girl's name. I dont like Remington though.

The hormones are talking again...!
No, they are both awful. If you are going to call your kid Remy, which is a proper name, just call him that and be done with it. A Remington is a typewriter.
Why don't you seek out some names that have a history? Think of people you admire deeply and use their first names: for instance, Nelson for Nelson Mandela, Martha for Martha Washington, or whatever, depending on your taste.

Amarie sounds like a girls name to me. I don't like Remington either. It's the name of a gun.

You know my husband joked that if we had a boy he wanted to name it Remington. I laughed at him. But, I think if you had the right middle name it would be great. We had thought about Hunter Scott for a boy. The girls name is nice to. i think the spelling works as well.

Amahry/Amahrie/Amarry/Amarrie I which I think is sooo pretty! I'd go with Amahry.
Remington is very strong but if you are not into guns or hunting, you may not like questions about it being an artillery name.
If you like Remy for a nickname, I suggest Remynton/Remyngton
