As long as she eats something I'm sure she'll be fine and this will phase will pass. My daughter went through a phase where she only ate frozen chicken nuggets for about seven weeks straight.

Yes it is VERY bad...those things are horrible as far as nutrition...what is wrong with YOU being the parent? STOP getting cereal and lunchables and make regular meals. If she doesn't eat she doesn't eat...she goes to bed hungry (NO SNACKS AT ALL) Not even healthy snacks because a child does NOT differentiate, all they know is they don't have to eat a meal becuase they will get a snack later. Next morning feed her breakfast as usual, a lunch and whatever you're having for dinner...if she doesn't eat...to bed hungry again. Trust me, she won't starve to death and she'll start eating what is put in front of her. (lunchables are nothing processed meat bi-products *think of what is left on the slaughter house floor*). Better yet...rent the DVD "Fast food nation".

Lunchables are NOT healthy. If she likes that whole meal in a box thing, get some containers like that and use cookie cutters to cut out chicken and other healthy meats. Let her help, put them into the container with some crackers. Also small fruit kabobs are fun, as well as small julienne veggies she can put into her favorite yogurt dip or dressing. Cereals are fine.. as long as they are not sugary kinds. My kids eat cheerios and special K as snacks... they love it...

Let her eat what she will eat, with the additions you suggested. She will eventually want other foods. Especially if you have her sit at the table with the family and make sure that she is offered the same choices as everyone else is.

Lunchables are only processed meat (which isn't really meat) and crackers (with processed flour an excess of salt and oils). Not really that healthy. It won't kill her, but it is not benefical to her growth

When my kids went through this....and all kids do, their doctor told me "as long as they are eating something", let them be. All you can do is keep offering things, milk, juice, peanut butter, etc. she will come around.
