i would go a completely different route and try moisturizing, not drying it out. The alcohol will not harm the baby but I dont think it wil help the rash. I had something very similar happen to me due to the stretching of the skin, caused a really itcht rash.. baby oil really helped. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Your condition is probably totally normal due to stretching of the skin - if it's an oozing or spreading rash you could be allergic to something and might want to see a doctor. Please DON'T USE CORTIZONE CREAM. This is not an approved medicine for pregnancy unless you are having a major skin problem for which the Doctor prescribes it. It can cause birth defects. Alcohol is not a good idea because it will likely cause more itching in the long run. Moisturizing is definety the way to go and will help prevent stretch marks as well.

It shouldn't harm the baby. Is it an oozing rash? If so, you should really see a doctor. If it is just itchy skin (which is common in pregnancy) then try lotion with vitamin e or aloe. I would think that rubbing alcohol would dry out your skin and make the itching worse.

Oops! Back in well being magnificence in prime university, did they let you know approximately "crabs"? This is a parasite that's transferrable from pets to individuals (or vice versa), referred to as Sarcoptes. It is truthfully a style of mange. If you're confident there are not any fleas, then there is a well likelihood it is Sarcoptes. The dog could have gotten this from dwelling in soiled stipulations within the situation he used to be raised. If he got here from a petstore or a "garden breeder", that does not shock me. Take the little man to the vet. They will let you know for definite whether it is Sarcoptes or fleas, or might be whatever else. Ringworm possibly yet another likelihood- that is a fungal dermis contamination. All three of the stipulations I've indexed are treatable, however they're all through specific approaches, so it is fundamental to grasp for definite what's inflicting the rash. The vet gets medication for the puppy, and will let you recognise what to inform your health practitioner so you'll be able to get dealt with as good.

No that is normal. The rubbing alcolhol will make it worse as it will dry it out. The red and itching is very common and is from your skin stretching. You need to put baby oil, olive oil, or even stretch mark cream. Walmart sells one with cocoa butter and shea in it. You need to moisturize the stretching skin. This will not only help you to have less stretch marks afterwards, but will help the itching for now.

Nah... no danger at all...
"If you notice itchy red bumps or welts on your belly and possibly your thighs and buttocks as well, you may have a condition called pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy (PUPPP for short). Up to one percent of pregnant women develop PUPPP, which is harmless but can be quite uncomfortable. See your practitioner so she can make sure it's not a more serious problem, provide treatment to make you more comfortable, and refer you to a dermatologist if necessary. Also be sure to call her if you feel intense itchiness all over your body, even if you don't have a rash. It could signal a liver problem."
Good luck!!!!! And congrats!

Dont use alcohol that will dry it out and make it itch more. Sounds like it could just be stretch marks. Put cocao butter lotion on your stomach often through out the day. That should helo ya.

No that wouldn't harm the baby but you should be using cortisone cream instead and go see your doctor in case it is something serious.
Good luck
