I am hosting a baby shower and want to make or buy a cake. I googled baby shower cakes but didn't see much. Does anyone know a good website for looking at cakes?

My mom is having a baby, and she told my brother, my sister, and I to think of some really cool baby names... My sister and brother thaught of some really cool ones, but I didn't come up with any? What's some cool first names, and then middle names that go with?

Have you or do you know of anyone who used a hot tub during pregnancy and the baby turned out fine? If so, how far along were you and how long did you stay in the hot tub?

Or vice versa, have you used a hot tub during pregnancy and you had a miscarriage or your baby was born with birth defects?

I am 38 weeks preg 39 on monday. I have not been sleeping very well because I get energy spurts. The baby has dropped and I am able to eat more now. But this morning I woke up with really bad lower back pains and have been having slight pains through out my stomach. Is this any indication that labor is near? This is my first child.

My kid started reading with a lot of encouragement and cajoling ( she doesnt like reading that much but its a school requirement ) recently . i started her off with Margaret Hillert and she loved it and now is stuck to her books only . I need names of books with authors that i can make her read which will be a little more challenging than Margaret Hillert so i can make her progress to step 2 . I plan on brestfeeding when my baby arrives. I will be a stay-at-home mom for awhile. Also a bit tight on money. I wasn't going to get a pump until a friend of mine suggested I have one on hand-just incase( engorgment,baby sleeping,want to go out...ect)

I am not sure what it is, but from readin it seems like it, it is white and a lil sticky and slippery but isn't stretchy, how could I get my mucus to thinning to coceive I am on clomid and was ttc from 4 years now, Does having cervical mucus cause you not to conceive or is it a possibility you can, and could me using preseed lubricator help the sperm find the egg with hosticle mucus

If I was pregnant and took provera,would I still have withdrawl bleeding.I ask because in June I started to take provera and never tested but always had withdrawl bleeding, but it was extra light(did not need kotex)but this last time it was heavy with alot of blood clots.could I have been pregnant and had a miscarriage due to taking provera?

Who gave/will give your baby their first bath, and how old were they/will they be?

If you give birth in a hospital, do nurses bath your baby? If so, are you not upset at missing baby's first bath?

How old should baby be when they have their first bath, is it necessary to bath so soon after birth? I don't know how these things usually happen. I had my baby at home and didn't bathe her until she was about 2 weeks old. Is it a routine hospital procedure to bath a newborn, and if so, does anyone know why? I'm curious.

I'm 38 weeks and 6 days pregnant. Yesterday at the docs i was 1cm dilated, baby's head is right there, and im short and soft.

Starting last night and all through most the night i've been getting strong contractions but not all were painful, mostly uncomfortable, feeling like i have gas, and lots of pressure on my pelvis.

How soon is labour for me? Why dont my contractions hurt very much? please help!

i read that height can make labour come early and im only 4ft 11 with shoe size 3 does being so small put me at risk? iv been told my height means i cant have the baby in a birthing centre but midwife didnt say why which worried me as well as disappointing me it also says age can be a factor and im only 19. im 30 weeks and feeling period like pains that arent getting stronger. wat should i do?

Im 27 yrs old and i have all the symptoms of pcos.. abnormal body hair and irregular periods. Also my boyfriend and i have been together for 11 yrs, never use protection and i've never been pregnant.. I had an ultra sound done 4 yrs ago and my doctor said she didnt find anything to say i had PCOS.. I need some advice! now that im getting older i really want kids. So I'm still trying to get pregnant and i started taking prenatal pills over a week ago now!!!!! So heres the thing i know it sounds bad but he doesnt know that im trying to get pregnant...... I am scared to tell my boss and his wife who is my manager in an office that I'm pregnant. I'm scared because his wife always makes fun of girls who gets pregnant early and my boss likes to embarrass me. Is this harrassment if they try to embarrass me and make fun of me? I don't know when to tell them either, and some of the guys I went to school with work out in the shop part and will probably talk about me and I don't want to feel like dirt because of all of these people.

My daughter is 2, and will be 3 in December. She can count to 15, knows her all her colors and some shapes, and speaks in semi-full sentences. She sometimes stutters though, when shes trying to talk. ( that worries me). Also, she loves to sing ( and can learn the main chorus to songs on the Radio) and knows the names of all kinds of animals, and the sounds they make. She WAS doing good at potty training. . but now she was regressed back to pee-ing in her pull up. I think shes doing ok for her age, but I want to make sure shes not falling behind. If you believe she is behind other kids, please off some advice on how I can help her. Thanks

Help! I have had 3 faint positive hpt this week. Decided to retest on Sunday, when I will be 5 days late. However, today I have just started with slight brown spotting, like my period is going to start. There is no red blood and to e honest, it looks like a very light brown discharge (sorry tmi). I know all about implantation bleeding but surely implantation must have already happened to get the positive hpt. I have no pain and don't really know what to think. I haven't even been to the doctors yet as I was going to wait to see the result on Sunday. I will obviously be going next week but just wondered if anyone had been through similar and what the outcome was. Thanks!

My four year old is starting pre-k this Monday. I took her to orientation yesterday so she could meet her teacher and see her classroom. She immediately went on her way to play at the centers. When it was my turn to meet the teacher I called her to come to me so she could say hi and she started getting a fit which by the way she normally doesn't do. Then when she wanted to go back to her "spot" where she was playing, other kids were there so she cried more, it was so embarrasing..lol
I don't know how she's gonna do on Monday. I hope she doesnt act up or cry, I've asked her if she's going to be a good girl and she says she is. Do you think she'll do good? What can I do to better prepare her?

I wanted to know some of the things you can do early on to prevent a miscarriage. Is too much walking and bending harmful for the baby...Sorry, I have yet to go for my first appointment so I'm kind of concerned...plus it's my first pregnancy.
