You may not get them. But when the baby gets big enough to press on your colon, that's when the problems can start. Keep yourself well hydrated and get plenty of fiber in your diet and you may not have any problem.

Good luck.

i never got them from either pregnancy. Normally women get hemrroids during delivery from the pushing. We have to push so hard that everything comes out, not just the baby. Just try to work on strengthening your muscles in your vagina and anus so this has less chance of happening.

No thats not something to look forward to. But from my expierence with my first baby I had them at around 5 months. Now I'm 28 weeks with #2 and I haven't had any sign of them yet, lets hope it stays that way!!!

Good luck

You don't always get them, everyone is different. And usually it won't happen until later in pregnancy, like 3rd trimester, when the blood volume is at its max, and the weight of the baby causes blood vessel congestion that can lead to hemorrhoids.

If you eat whole grain foods, plenty of fresh veggies (raw or lightly steamed) and whole fruit, and drink PLENTY of water, you won't get them. They come from being blocked up and pushing too hard at #2. So you want to make sure things are running pretty well in that department.

I didn't get them with any of my three pregnancies.

I only had problems with this after labor, and it after labor there are so many things going on in your body - I hardly noticed this problem. I really wouldn't worry there are some pretty helpful remedies your doctor will send you home with. Good luck!
